Passed away December 16, 2005 after a 3 year battle with cancer. He leaves behind his longtime companion Kathy, his sister Peggy and her family and many Friends. Fred graduated from University of British Columbia in 1962 with a science degree. He worked for several mining companies before returning to University to earn his M.B.A. graduating in 1973 eventually ending up in Toronto as a mining analyst. He progressed to more senior positions and retired from Merrill Lynch Canada as a director in 1989. His time in the business was rewarding and he developed many close relationships. Shortly thereafter he moved to his country property at Rob Roy were he spent the next 16 years fully enjoying the outdoors gardening and construction projects. A Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Nottawa on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice. After a courageous battle with cancer, Aleks peacefully passed away, in his 80th year, at Scarborough General Hospital, on January, 19, 2005, with his beloved wife Liivia and much loved daughters Linda, Mari-Ann, and Ingrid, by his side. Aleks was predeceased by his loving son Paul Mart in 1993. Aleks will be dearly missed by his son-in-law Michael, and his precious granddaughters Alexandra and Emma. He will be missed by family and numerous Friends in Canada and his beloved homeland of Estonia. A special thank you is extended to the Doctors and Nurses at Scarborough General's 4th and 7th floors for their compassionate care and for making his final hours more comfortable. Died in his 73rd year, Friday, October 28, 2005, peacefully, in his home with family by his side. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years, Maria, his son Peter, daughter Sylvia, his daughter-in-law Maria, son-in-law Drew, and his 4 adoring grandchildren: Stephanie, Michael, Charlotte and Alexander. His two sisters, Charlotte and Judith (and husband Steve), his sister-in-law Margaret and her husband Zoltan, also lost a dearly beloved brother and friend, as did his many Friends and relatives in Canada, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Sweden and the U.S.A. Emil is predeceased by his father Mihaly, mother Irma, and by his dear nephew and godson whom he loved so much, Victor. More than anything, Emil enjoyed the company of his family and good Friends. He loved camping, cottaging, sports and nature and spent 11 years of his retirement travelling with his wife visiting Friends and family in far off lands. Loving mother (in-law) and grandmother of Elsbeth VAN ASTEN, Jean-Paul, Cleo and Maya FAHRNER of Australia, Kizito VAN ASTEN and Sandra SCHAEKEN of Kanata, Hedwig VAN ASTEN of New Zealand, Patricia VAN ASTEN, David, Gavin and Mara SCOTT of Guelph. Suddenly, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Monday, March▲ 21, 2005, Marguerite M. McCAW (MOORE,) formerly of Metcalfe Township, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Laverne McCAW, formerly of Metcalfe Township, and dear mother of Marie and David CLEMENTS of Goderich, Marjorie and Don THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of Strathroy, Ronald and Joan McCAW of London, Karl and Karen McCAW of Poplar Hill, and Alice and Henry KANTERS of Elmwood, Ontario. Also loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Frances HUTTON and sisters-in-law Audrey McCAW and Mae HOUSTON. Predeceased▲ by her parents Earl and Mary MOORE (STEPHENSON) and sisters Verna HARDY and Kathleen HARDY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, where funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. with Reverend David CLEMENTS officiating. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Marguerite.

Passed away suddenly at home, on Saturday, May 28, 2005, at the age of 73. Predeceased by her husband Samuel (1991). Beloved mother of Sarah (Robert AMBROSE), Kathy, Mary (Steven McNENLY). Loving "Nana" of Scott, Sam, Ashlee, Darian and Keegan. Dear sister of Barbara (Joe KANTHACK) and the late Ronald HART. Marjorie spent her early years in Walkerville, later married and moved to Simcoe. (Chief Executive Officer and President Wheel and Tire Zone) Passed away peacefully on the morning of September 23rd, 2005 at York Central Hospital after a courageous battle. He will be remembered by family as a loving father, grandfather, husband, as a devoted brother and uncle and as a dear friend. He will be remembered by his colleagues as an expert in his industry for over 30 years. Family and Friends will be welcomed for a memorial on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street. Mr. Mátyás " Matthew" FERENCZ of Maich Crescent, Brantford, a man who loved life as much as he loved his family, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, October 18, 2005, in his 64th year. Member of the Delhi District Hungarian House and the Canadian Auto Workers. son of the late Mátyás and Gizella (KÁNYA) FERENCZ. Matthew was born in Csiksomlyó, Erdély on January 31st, 1942 and immigrated to Canada in 1987. Beloved husband of Olga FERENCZ (née HAJDU.) Dear father of Andrea FERENCZ (George PUTOCZKI,) Oakville and Tünde "Cindy" FERENCZ (Glen HAMMOND,) Milton. Dear brother and brother-in-law of István FERENCZ (Izabella,) Imre FERENCZ (Klára) and János Hajdu (Katalin.) Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
