Louis Paul, on Thursday July 14, 2005 passed away at Woodstock General Hospital after a brief illness. Seventy Eight years ago, in Somagyvar, Hungary he was born to Sandor and Maria JANCSAR, their seventh chi ld. After coming to Canada he raised his family. Three children reside in Woodstock: Paul and Pat JANCSAR, Mark and Barb JANCSAR and Esther and Martin LIEVRE; Susanne and Terry BENBOW live in Hickson; Dean and Joan JANCSAR at Bright, while Nicholas and Lisa JANCSAR are in Niagara Falls. All his family including the 17 grandchildren surrounded him with loving farewells. They are: Darrel, Emily, Bethany, Randall, Ben, Peter, Zachary, Brianne, Kathleen, Daniel, Cole, Andrew, Cara, Michaela, Rachel, Caleb and Martina. Visitation will be held at the R.D. Passed away December 16, 2005, at Milton District Hospital, at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Harrry. Loving mother of Bill KOWALSKI (Catherine JANES), Wendy KOWALSKI (Jim MAGUIRE), Rick KOWALSKI (Bonnie CAMERON,) and Daniel KOWALSKI. Survived by her sister Sally (Bruce HUTTON.) In the early hours of Thursday, April 14, 2005, a life of nearly 90 years ended at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Guelph. Lidia JANITIS leaves behind her daughter, Austra KARDOSH and family, and son Henry and his family in London, Ontario. Lidia and her late husband Adolfs lived through a tumultuous century. Displaced from their Latvian homeland by World War 2, as were millions of people across the globe, they found temporary homes in Germany and in Venezuela, where Lidia's charm and linguistic gift supported her husband's photographic skill to create a studio. In the 1950's they happily immigrated to Toronto, where their studio portraits commemorated many events for the Latvian community. Lidia loved her adopted country - its nature, its art, and its freedom. Cremation has taken place, and a family service will follow. Her family asks only that you remember the human costs of war and live the knowledge: "The Works of Love are the Works of Peace."

Sally's two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Fiona, also brought joy into her last difficult years. Barbara (BEAMER) of Elgin Manor on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at her late residence, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Elmer JOHNSTON (1993) and dearly loved mother of Judith and her husband Victor JANKOWSKI of London and the late Douglas E. JOHNSTON (1979.) Much loved grandmother of Aaron and Julia JANKOWSKI. Predeceased by a brother Maxwell BEAMER. Barbara was born in Chatham on September 24, 1923. She was a member of First United Church and the United Church Women of First United Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Peacefully on Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at the White Eagle Nursing Home at the age of 90. Predeceased by his wife Michalina. Loving uncle of Janek and Mary REKAS, and Wieslaw and Wieslawa JANKOWSKI, and great uncle to Joanne, Karol, Stan and Piotr. Bruno will be dearly missed by his family and Friends in Poland and Canada. The family would like to thank the staff at White Eagle Nursing Home for their loving care and compassion.
