brave battle with cancer for over five years. Survived and held

Arl was a noble and compassionate person who dedicated himself
to helping others. As a young man, he served with the Royal Canadian
Air Force and on the London Police Force. Over a span of 29 years,
he built his career at Labatt Brewery where he became chief engineer.
He was a life long member of the Young Men's Christian Association
and volunteered there for several decades helping children with
disabilities. He gave his love, loyalty and sense of humour to
family and Friends and will be remembered always. A private family
service was conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George
Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. on Wednesday May

Florida passed away June 17, 2005 at a Tampa hospital. Dr.
ROBBINS
was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was in his 74th year
of age. Doc came to Charlotte County from Toronto, where he had
practiced dentistry for 12 years on Bayview Avenue. In 1972,
he established his dental practice in Port Charlotte, Florida.
He pioneered the development of Implant dentistry in Charlotte
County and Southwest Florida. He was a member of the American
Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District
Dental Association, Charlotte County Dental Association, Fellow
of the Academy of General Dentistry, Ontario Dental Association,
and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Hal was most proud
of his lifelong membership in the 'Tenderfoot Hunting Group'
in Canada. Doc was an aggressive creator, sponsor and supporter
of the dental assisting program at Charlotte County Technical
Center. Doc was involved in seminars in the U.S.A. and abroad
speaking about various dental subjects. He was honored to be
the first Canadian citizen to successfully complete licensure
requirements for a Florida Dental License. Survivors include

left with another. Adopted soon after birth in 1920 by C. Victor

many Friends, was raised in Toronto and distinguished himself
as a fine athlete at Ridley and Upper Canada Colleges and North
Toronto Collegiate. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in
1940 and earned his wings in 1941. After coastal defence duties
during the war, surviving several crashes in peacetime and duty
as a test pilot, John left the Royal Canadian Air Force to enter
private business in 1956. A lifelong stamp collector, he retired
in the late 1980's to work on his collection and to pursue his
interests in needlepoint and painting. Special thanks are extended
