Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister left us peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital. Surrounded by family, after a brave battle with cancer for over five years. Survived and held in loving memory by her husband Karl Heinz, her children Hans Juergen (Michele), Karl Frank, Gabriele Doris (Rene VAN MEGGELEN), her grandchildren Dennis, Fabienne, Ben, Felicity, her brother Rolf EITELBACH with his wife Brigitte▲ and family. We would like to thank Dr. STURGEON and his team, Dr. ALASTAIR and Margaret CUNNINGHAM with "The Healing Journey" staff and group, who lead her through the journey with endless love and support. Anna's family would like to thank everyone who helped and supported them through her illness. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at 1: 00 p.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Parish at Cheritan Ave. and Yonge Street, just south of Lawrence Ave. in Toronto. Don was a retired press operator from Chamberlain-Mercury Printing and he was an active member in the Knights of Columbus. Loved son of Mary Louise (NADEAU) and the late Charles Edward DEIGHTON. Beloved husband of Jane Anne (GORMELY.) Loving father and father-in-law of Delynne and Tom MARLATT of Mitchell's Bay, Susan and Martyn WILLIAMS of Corunna and Brian and Sonia of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Dear grandfather of Brandon, Daryn, Matthew, Rhys, Bryn, Kent, Roan and Nikhil. Brother and brother-in-law of Darlene and Ron HETHERINGTON of Wallaceburg and the late baby Henrietta. Friends called at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The funeral mass was concelebrated by Fr. Greg BONIN & Fr. Dennis WILHELM on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Holy Family Church at 11 a.m. The family placed the pall on the casket. Don's son Brian delivered the eulogy. The grandchildren were flower bearers. The pallbearers were Pete HENSEL, Terry RABIDEAU, Don LABADIE, Don ROSE, Rick VYNCKIER and Jerry COVENY. The interment followed at Riverview Cemetery. Peacefully at his residence, after a brief illness, Charles G. JARRETT (Arl) of London on Monday, May 2nd, 2005 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Ivy L. (DEAN) JARRETT (2000.) Dear father of Lorraine BERGSMA (John,) and Arlene CLARKE all of London. Cherished grandfather (Bubba) of Dean BERGSMAS, Katie and Stephen CLARKE all of London. Predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Jack JARRETT and his sister Jane HENSHAW.
Arl was a noble and compassionate person who dedicated himself to helping others. As a young man, he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force and on the London Police Force. Over a span of 29 years, he built his career at Labatt Brewery where he became chief engineer. He was a life long member of the Young Men's Christian Association and volunteered there for several decades helping children with disabilities. He gave his love, loyalty and sense of humour to family and Friends and will be remembered always. A private family service was conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. on Wednesday May 4th, 2005 with Reverend Brian McKAY of the Church of St. Andrew Memorial, London officiating. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. Harold (Hal 'Doc') Thomas ROBBINS Sr., D.D.S. of Charlotte County, Florida passed away June 17, 2005 at a Tampa hospital. Dr. ROBBINS was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was in his 74th year of age. Doc came to Charlotte County from Toronto, where he had practiced dentistry for 12 years on Bayview Avenue. In 1972, he established his dental practice in Port Charlotte, Florida. He pioneered the development of Implant dentistry in Charlotte County and Southwest Florida. He was a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Charlotte County Dental Association, Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Ontario Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Hal was most proud of his lifelong membership in the 'Tenderfoot Hunting Group' in Canada. Doc was an aggressive creator, sponsor and supporter of the dental assisting program at Charlotte County Technical Center. Doc was involved in seminars in the U.S.A. and abroad speaking about various dental subjects. He was honored to be the first Canadian citizen to successfully complete licensure requirements for a Florida Dental License. Survivors include his wife Christine HENSLEY- ROBBINS, D. Min., daughter Rosalie Rebecca ROBBINS, D.D.S., son Harold (Hal) Thomas ROBBINS, II, D.C. (Leah D.,) and granddaughters Mackenzie Mary ROBBINS and Skylar Rayne ROBBINS, all of Charlotte County, Florida. Hal was predeceased by his wife Mary Margaret McINTOSH- ROBBINS. Passed away peacefully in his 99th year at the Scarborough Grace Hospital on Wednesday, October 5, 2005. He was predeceased by his daughter Melrose JARDINE, his brothers Carlos and Tony and his sisters Angie and Elaine. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 70 years, Veronica, his children Compton (Barbara) of England, Theresa RAI, Shirleen AZEVEDO, Camille (Dennis) SHAW, Angela (Monty) HENSON, Albert Jr. (Bernadette,) Genevieve (Joe) MASON, Daune (Frank) GOUVEIA, 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, his sister Eloise and many nieces and nephews. Suddenly on October 4, 2005 in Bucharest, Romania, Elena (Lia), beloved wife of Kevin O'REILLY of London, Ontario passed away from complications due to cancer in her 41st year. Survived by her daughter Manuela and husband Haitham of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Also stepdaughter Catherine and husband Dan and grandchildren Kevin and Christine of Aberdeen, Scotland. Will be sadly missed by her mother-in-law Carmela O'REILLY, and in-laws Pat and Randy GRAHAM, Will and Debbie O'REILLY, Chris O'REILLY, Megan O'REILLY, Doug O'REILLY and Millie HENSTRIDGE. HODDER, John Henry
Quietly, in Kitchener, Ontario, at the age of 85, on Monday November 28, 2005. John is survived by his wife and companion of 62 years Mary Fraser HODDER, sons Richard and Steven, daughters-in-law Margo TAKEDA and Valerie REED and grandchildren Matthew, Tanis and Jordyn HODDER. John came into the world with one name and left with another. Adopted soon after birth in 1920 by C. Victor HODDER, O.B.E. and Kathleen Telford HODDER, John, or Jack to many Friends, was raised in Toronto and distinguished himself as a fine athlete at Ridley and Upper Canada Colleges and North Toronto Collegiate. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940 and earned his wings in 1941. After coastal defence duties during the war, surviving several crashes in peacetime and duty as a test pilot, John left the Royal Canadian Air Force to enter private business in 1956. A lifelong stamp collector, he retired in the late 1980's to work on his collection and to pursue his interests in needlepoint and painting. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Mary JACKSON, Dr. Eric HENTSCHEL and the nursing staff in the Chest Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital. His cremains will be interred in the family plot, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.

John was born in Cestereg, Yugoslavia and came to Canada in 1929. John and June operated a poultry farm in Tyrconnell for many years. John served as a committee man and Director of the Ontario Egg Producers Marketing Board for many years. Don was a director and past president of the Ontario Soybean Marketing Board, he served on the Dunwich Township Council, he farmed the family century farm near Iona and wil be especially remembered for his love of farming. A lifelong accountant, Gisela was also an armchair sports fanatic, enjoying Formula 1 races, horse show jumping, downhill ski racing, and the Olympics. You could always hear her cheering on her favourites. She will be sorely missed by us all. It was Gisela's expressed wish to be cremated, with the ashes scattered across Canada.
