It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Edward ENGLAND, at the Toronto East General Hospital, in his 81st year, on Thursday, July 7, 2005. Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Roy is survived by his beloved wife Thelma Susie ENGLAND (née HAUSE) of 58 years; his nine children, Susan BARRETT of Toronto, Janet FERGUSON and husband Bob of Bancroft, Roy ENGLAND of Toronto, John ENGLAND and wife Sandy of Bowmanville, Alexandra FULTON and husband Jim of Omemee, Kim ENGLAND of Toronto, Jane ENGLAND and husband John DOUEY of Toronto, Christopher ENGLAND of Toronto, and Judy McCARTHY and husband Tim of New Jersey thirteen grandchildren, Roy DEANS, Brent LOCKERBIE and wife Patty, Roxanne DEANS, Julia PERCY and husband Blaine, Tanya BARRETT and husband Tom CASSIOTIS, Neil URQUHART, B.J. Roy served in the Second World War, retired from the Post Office after 40 years, was born, raised and lived his whole life in the East end of Toronto. Mary Yvonne "Bonnie" of Saint Thomas, on Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Edward BAKER (July 19, 1996.) Dearly loved mother of Michael and his wife Ann BAKER of Saint Thomas and Kenna (FISH) BAKER and her husband Stanley HAUSER of Dutton. Loved grandmother of Stephen BAKER, Sara and her husband Kris REID, Richard and his wife Robin FISH, Dennis FISH and his wife Angela WOOD, Tammy FISH and her fiancé Larry HUGHSON and Benjamin and Katie WELCH. Sadly missed by a number of great grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother Edward MUISE and a sister Evelyn MUISE.
Yvonne was born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia on June 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Madeline MUISE. She lived most of her adult life in this area and was a member of Saint Anne's Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Monday at 11: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In the presence of her family, Barbara Ann BAUER- MAISON made the transition to new life on August 31, 2005, in her 53rd year. We thank Dr. Sean BLAINE, and the many nurses who cared for her at home. Barbara very much appreciated the support of her family and Friends throughout her illness with breast cancer. Particularly, she treasured the support of Hope Springs Centre in Waterloo and L'Arche Stratford.
She was the daughter of Patricia (SCHNURR) and Raymond BAUER. She was married on August 6th, 1988, to Marc MAISON of Fontenay-Sous-Bois, France. She was the loving mother of three adopted daughters from China: Naomi 11, Elisha 9, and Natasha 7. A special daughter-in-law to Claudine and René MAISON of Fontenay-Sous-bois, France.
She is survived by her sister Brenda and her husband Pat MURPHY of Toronto, Carol and her husband Neil PALMER of St. George, Maureen and her husband David McGAHEY of Perth, Ray BAUER and his wife Renée (UFFELMAN) of Kitchener, Marianne and her husband Brian HIFF of Cambridge, Lisa and her husband Frank LEAHY of Waterloo, E.J. of Detroit, Michigan, Peter and his wife Kathleen (FITZPATRICK) of Waterloo, and Brian and his wife Holly (HAUSER) of Hawkesville. Her brother and sisters-in-law in France are, Denis and Elizabeth MAISON of Briançon, Hugues and Thérèse MAISON of Bussy-St.-George, and Laure and Benoit DUMAS of Orsay. She will be missed by over forty nieces and nephews in Canada and France.

SMITH, William Francis " Bill" (1931-2005)
Peacefully on the morning of August 15, 2005 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Bill fought his illness with deep faith, grace and good humour. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 46 years, Mary. Adored and admired by his daughters Geraldine (Geri), and Frances (1967-1976). "Willie" will be missed by his brothers James (Hazel), Francie (Bell) and sisters Pauline (Tommy), Margaret and Kathleen (Mel) and their families, (predeceased by Sarah and Edmund). Bill was a devoted member of St. Louis Parish, Waterloo since 1973 and a member of the Eucharistic Team since its inception in 1983. With deep gratitude his family thanks the parish pastoral team, community health care nurses Joan and Katie, Dr. K. BEDROSIAN and Dr. E. WILLIAMSON and the wonderful nursing team at Freeport (Union Terrace West) for their compassion, kindness and special care. She devoted many hours to the Community Living Association for Chatham-Kent, the Chatham-Kent Integrated Children's Services, the Kent County Separate School Board, and was a long time member of the Chatham Granite Club. HAUSSMANN, Hildegard E.A.
In her 91st year, Hildegard passed away on the morning of Sunday September 4, 2005 in her home after a short battle with cancer. In the course of raising four children, she emigrated from Germany in 1953 and then built a devoted clientele as sales clerk for many years in downtown Toronto Eaton's coat department. In retirement she indulged her passion for music and nature, attending symphony concerts, tending her magnificent garden, hiking the Bruce Trail end-to-end, and giving back to her community as a volunteer reader for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. She will be dearly missed by her four children, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and Friends. Our thanks go to those at V.H.A. Home Healthcare, Homestead CareProviders and her neighbours who helped to make it possible for her to stay in her home until the end. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the World Wildlife Fund, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
