It is with great sorrow the family of Ralph Carl ESTABROOKS announces his passing on Friday, May 13, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Husband of the late Carrie ESTABROOKS. Loving father of Yvonne LAVALLEY (Phillip) of Lake St. Peter, Ontario, the late Carol GAUNCE (Ed) of Acamac, New Brunswick, Lyn CAPUTO (Vince) of Bramalea, Ontario, Joy HUSSEY (Gord) of Lake St. Peter, Ontario, Geri HALSTEAD (Frank) of Pickering, Ontario. Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Richard of Moncton, New Brunswick. Predeceased by brothers Vaughan of Sackville, New Brunswick and Donald (Tubby) of Lakewood, New Brunswick. Predeceased by parents Carl and Lena of Saint John, New Brunswick. Ralph was a Veteran and served his country with honour during World War 2. He was enlisted in the Carleton and York Regiment from 1939-1945. Ralph was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Ralph retired from the Ministry of Correctional Services in 1985 after 30 years of service. He retired to the Bancroft area where he has lived for 17 years. Ralph lived a simple life just as he wished for. He enjoyed deer and moose hunting but his favourite pastime was attending the local auction sales. His week was not complete unless he came home with a new box of goodies to add to his collection. He will be especially missed by his best friend Mary-Lou DRAKE. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17th from 12: 30-2:30 p.m. at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.), 416-266-4404. Aservice will begin at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.

Special mother to Jacob and his wife Marina VAN HALTEREN. Beloved Nona of Thomas, Amy, Stephen, Amanda, Rachel, Candice, Laurence, Hetty, Jacob and Theodore. Survived by her dearest sister Anne JAMES. Ruth Isabel (DOLLAR) MALLORY passed away with her family at her side in her 81st year in Florence, South Carolina on the 10th of March 2005. Ruth was born in Toronto, the daughter of Dr. Logie and Margaret DOLLAR. She lived her formative years in St. Thomas. She was predeceased by her husband Lee MALLORY and her brother Hubert DOLLAR and his wife Pat. She is survived by her former husband Albert P. OSBORNE, her daughter Ann Louise (OSBORNE) PEACOCK and her husband Paul of Lake Forest, California, Robin Elaine (OSBORNE) HALUS and her husband Dr. Steve HALUS of Florence, South Carolina. Ruth's six grandchildren; Gregory, Thomas and Joseph PEACOCK and Andrew, Paulina and Jack HALUS will miss their much loved "Nonnie". She is survived by her two brothers, Gordon DOLLAR and his wife Marilyn of Waterloo, John DOLLAR and his wife Jean of London. Aunt Ruth will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and her many Friends in Arizona and California where she resided for many years. There will be a grave side memorial service at 2: 00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at the Saint Thomas Cemetery at the family plot. Ruth's Friends are invited to attend.

Born March 15, 1922 in Fort William. Died peacefully June 17, 2005, at Bridgepoint Health, Toronto. Predeceased by her husband Ross MARTIN. Sadly missed by daughters Almeda WALLBRIDGE (James,) Timmins, Donalda DEAS, Qualicum Beach, Bobbi MARTIN- HAW (David), Hastings, grandchildren Emily, Isaac, Jimmy, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Sadie, and Luke, and great-grandchildren Tatyana and Quinti. Ozzie was a determined mother, world traveller, champion speedskater, and something of a private detective. She fought non-hodgkins lymphoma with grit and she died with grace and dignity. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Speedskating Association. It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart, that we announce the peaceful passing of Hildegard HALVACHS on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 with her son Otto Paul Joseph by her side. Beloved wife, best friend and soulmate of her late husband Julius Paul. Hildegard will be fondly remembered and missed by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many relatives and Friends in Austria and Canada. A private Funeral was held on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick's Church, 131 McCaul Street, Toronto. Special thanks to the hardworking and dedicated nurses and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit St. Michael's Hospital for all their kindness and heartfelt thoughts and compassionate care. Peacefully, at Grey Gables, Markdale, Sunday March 20, 2005. Wilbert 'Wib' SUTCLIFFE of Markdale in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Edna and the late Ruth. Survived by sisters-in-law Grace WHEILDON of Markdale, Shirley DICKSON/DIXON of Mitchell and brother-in-law Maurice QUINTON of Owen Sound, and the family of the late Ruth SUTCLIFFE (HOLLEY.) Sadly missed by his extended family and Friends. Friends called at the May Funeral Home, Markdale, Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon and evening, where Reverend Neil PARKER officiated a funeral service held Thursday March 24, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Chaplain Kathryn HAINES gave a eulogy. Music included the congregational hymns 'Amazing Grace' and 'What A Friend We Have In Jesus', accompanied by pianist David FRIES. Arnold ROSENBURG, Will MOORE, Howard GREIG, Hob PRINGLE, Terry McKAY and Cornelius VLIELANDER served as pall bearers. Honorary bearers were George HALL, Bob HALL, Terry BUCKLEY, Ken FERGUSON, John HALVERSON and Dyson SEABROOK. A recessional honour guard was formed by the past and present members of the Councils of the Township of Chatsworth, and the County of Grey. lnterment in Markdale Cemetery. Donations were directed to Grey Gables Residents' Fund, or the charity of choice.

Survived by loving wife Jean and his three daughters Judy of Montreal, Carol (Brian HALVERSON) of Mississauga, and Robin (Greg RYCKMAN) of Oakville. Also survived by grandchildren Shannon, Sean, Kellie, Trevor and Samantha and great-grand_son Daniel.
