of Pickering, Ontario. Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Richard of Moncton, New
Brunswick. Predeceased by brothers Vaughan of Sackville, New
Brunswick and Donald (Tubby) of Lakewood, New Brunswick. Predeceased
by parents Carl and Lena of Saint John, New Brunswick. Ralph
was a Veteran and served his country with honour during World
War 2. He was enlisted in the Carleton and York Regiment from
1939-1945. Ralph was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Ralph
retired from the Ministry of Correctional Services in 1985 after
30 years of service. He retired to the Bancroft area where he
has lived for 17 years. Ralph lived a simple life just as he
wished for. He enjoyed deer and moose hunting but his favourite
pastime was attending the local auction sales. His week was not
complete unless he came home with a new box of goodies to add
to his collection. He will be especially missed by his best friend
Mary-Lou DRAKE.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17th
from 12: 30-2:30 p.m. at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy
Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.),
416-266-4404. Aservice will begin at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will
follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.

peaceful passing of Hildegard
HALVACHS on Tuesday, March 1, 2005
with her son Otto Paul Joseph by her side. Beloved wife, best
friend and soulmate of her late husband Julius Paul. Hildegard
will be fondly remembered and missed by her sisters-in-law, nieces,
nephews, many relatives and Friends in Austria and Canada. A
private Funeral was held on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the Turner
