due to complications of a stroke earlier this year. Alice was
born March 2nd, 1916 on the Gaspe Peninsula. She was predeceased

GARNER (1913-1979) who was a noted Canadian writer
and recipient of the Governor General's Award for Fiction in
1963. Hugh's works included novels, short stories, screenplays,
television plays, newspaper and magazine articles that were published
world wide and some of his short stories are required reading
in many high school courses. Alice is survived by her sisters

Brad was beginning to embark on a promising, successful business
