Camp. In retirement he enjoyed woodworking and creating lawn

Born in Hamilton, he attended Hillfield School and McMaster University
there, St. Andrew's College in Aurora and graduated from the
Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, University of Pennsylvania.
Like his father and grandfather Fraser's working years were dedicated
to the Canada Life Assurance Company. For 38 years he worked
throughout Canada and the U.S. He wrote two very popular insurance
books as well as many articles and text material for the provincial
insurance department, the insurance industry and his company.
In his later working years (he retired at 60) he was much in
demand as a speaker, particularly in the U.S.
He frequently contributed articles to the Guelph Mercury and
Georgian Bay Today.
Fraser was a lifelong supporter of the arts and a volunteer.
From the opening day of the River Run Centre, he and Bev were
there more than 300 times ushering, bartending, writing training
material or whatever needed doing. In recent years he has served
on the Advisory Board of Touchmark Theatre, the Board of the
Kitchener Waterloo Symphony, the Guelph Chamber Choir and the
Guelph Spring Festival (president).
As with two generations before him and three following him the
family are all dedicated to their special part of Georgian Bay.
Many cousins and neighbours will miss seeing Fraser row his boat
through the islands.
Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home and
Chapel 206 Norfolk Street, Guelph (Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm) A private
family service will be held. Cremation Woodlawn Memorial Park,
Guelph.
