Dearly loved husband of Frances Elizabeth (DILLS) PROSSER and loved father of Marion and her husband Allen EIDSNESS of Curtice, Roderick and his wife Sue of Orangeville, Edith and her husband Brian GALLOWAY of Waterloo, Keith and his wife Trish PROSSER of Calgary and Heather PROSSER of Kitchener. Dear brother of William and his wife Loretta PROSSER of London. Loved grandfather of Andrew, Charles, Julie, Erin, Drew (predeceased), Hilary, Amanda, Devon, Ryan, Trevor, Blair and Katie. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Clare was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick on March 30, 1926, the son of the late William and Mabel (GOSNELL) PROSSER. He came to Saint Thomas in 1969. He was the Director of Education for Elgin County from 1971-1981. Clare was a graduate of the University of Toronto. Past chairman of the Ontario head Masters, 1966, served during World War 2, member of Saint Thomas Masonic Lodge #44 A.F. and A.M. and was an avid Duplicate Bridge player. SARAZIN, Barry Philip
It is with regret that the family of Barry Philip SARAZIN announce his passing on November 29th at Parkwood Hospital, London, at the age of 58 years. Barry is survived by his wife of 34 years and best friend Beth (née HODGSON,) his two children: Kristin (husband Rob GOSS) of London and son Geoffrey (fiancee Janna HOWIE) of Calgary, Alberta; his two grandchildren Michael and Bethany GOSS and his sister Valerie (husband Lindsay CARTER) of Blind River and sister Verna DOCHERTY of England. He is also the beloved son-in-law of Marjorie HODGSON of Belleville, Ontario. For almost thirty years, Barry was on faculty at London's Fanshawe College where he not only taught courses in the Radio Broadcasting Program, he was also the Coordinator of the program for many years. He was part of the team that was responsible for securing Canada's first campus instructional radio station, CIXX-FM (6X-FM) in 1978 dedicated to training students under actual broadcast conditions. For these activities, Barry was honored as one of the first inductees into the Fanshawe College Communications Arts Wall of Fame. Barry's broadcast career commenced over 40 years ago in Blind River. Over the years he was heard on radio stations in Sault. Ste. Marie, Ottawa, Smith Falls and Oshawa where he also served as Program Director. From 1975 to 1995, Barry could be heard hosting weekend radio shows on CFPL (AM980.) An avid sailor, he is believed to be the only person to have served as both Commander of the London Power and Sail Squadron and as Commodore of the Fanshawe Yacht Club. The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Parkwood Hospital for their compassion and care given to Barry. A special thanks to Dr. Dana WINTERBURN whose thoughtful efforts offered Barry a peaceful dignified end to his life. The family is also indebted to many others offering support to Barry including Community Care Access Centre, the Victorian Order of Nurses and the London Regional Cancer Centre. The sustained concern and fellowship of Friends and colleagues over the last six years as Barry valiantly fought his disease has been greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place and the memorial celebration of Barry's life will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Rd. North on Friday, December 2nd at 3 p.m., with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2005. Loving husband of Asha DUGGAL and father of Dr. Neil DUGGAL (Louise RAYMOND,) Dr. Naven DUGGAL (Pamela PURI) and Dr. Anil DUGGAL (Heather RICHARDSON). Devoted son-in-law of Mr. Brij and Mrs. Parkash SEHGAL. son of the late Jagan Nath and Shiva Devi DUGGAL. Brother of Badri, Kailash, Som, Amar and Santosh (Mohinder MALHOTRA) and families. Dedicated grandfather of Chloé, Camille, Émilie, Jaden and Evan. Loved by all his nieces and nephews. Born in India, educated in England and in Canada in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Doug worked for many years at the National Energy Board retiring to teach economics and mathematics. Thanks to the dedicated staff at the Ottawa Cancer Clinic and the Ottawa General Hospital. Great appreciation for the loving care from Doctors REGNIER, GOSS, LOCHRIN, JONES, the cancer clinic nurses Gail and Caroline, as well as 5 east nursing staff Lorna, Linda, Judy and Jocelyne. Thanks also to the Community Care Access Staff and The Victorian Order of Nurses. He will be sadly missed by his family and many Friends. The family will appreciate donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, 503 Smyth Road, Ottawa, Ontario K1H 1C4.

GOSS, Diane Patricia (née QUESNELLE)
After waging a prolonged and courageous battle with cancer, Diane GOSS, born in July 1949, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Mississauga Trillium Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Diane was greatly admired by all who knew her and was viewed as a role model in her handling of the numerous challenges and adversities in her fight with the dreaded disease. With the active medical and emotional support of Dr. ADESANYA, and the tireless efforts of the Oncology team at Trillium Hospital, Diane felt hope and support at every stage in her struggle. Diane, beloved wife, friend, partner, and kindred spirit of husband Geoff GOSS, will be missed greatly. Diane's sons Blair and Brad Maurice, and their wives Sue and Lisa have been very active in making their Mom's life happy and fulfilled, and will carry with them fond memories of their mother's coaching, humour, and love. Diane leaves behind four caring stepchildren: Gordon and wife Jill, grandchildren Maddy, Olivia, and Robert; Christina, grand_sons Nick and Michael; Gail and husband Corey, grand_son Brody; and Heather, grandchildren Michelle and Trevor. The extended family was very happy and harmonious and Diane provided leadership, attention and love to all. Diane's family, from the Midland-Penetanguishene area including mother Theo, sisters Arlene and Pauline and their husbands Dave and Mike and their families have made Diane and Geoff welcome for all special family occasions. Finally, thank-you to all her wonderful Friends from Credit Valley Golf Club, boating, work, and old neighbourhoods who stayed close to Diane all through her fight. It is Diane's wish that she be cremated. Went peacefully and into his Lord's presence on June 14, 2005 in his ninety-eighth year at Ottawa Grace Manor. Predeceased by his first wife Dollie (GOSS,) his second wife Grace (ATTERBURY,) his sister Dora (REUCASSEL) and his brother Owen. Dear father of Tom (Jessie), Peter (Anna-Lise), Richard (Catherine) and loving grandfather of Sarah, Mark, Andrew and Emily. Fondly remembered by Grace's daughters Joan COLQUHOUN, Jean MacDONELL and Judy WOODS. The textile industry was Tom's chosen vocation, first in Toronto and then as plant manager at Glenayr (Kitten) Knit Ltd., in Lanark, from 1945 until 1972. The family wish to thank and acknowledge the staff of The Salvation Army Ottawa Grace Manor who gave loving and attentive care over the past several years; also to the staff at Perth Community Care where Tom was a resident prior to his move to Ottawa. She was employed as a charge aide with Chestnut Lodge of Rockville, Maryland until retiring in 1984. She was of the Protestant Faith. Survived by her husband John Lewis DELP (married December 26, 1962, of Williamsport, Maryland;) daughter Heather M. GOSSARD of Williamsport, Maryland granddaughters Sandra L. ENGLEMAN of Jefferson, Maryland, Christina A. PRICE of Hagerstown, Maryland, Michele D. McDONALD of Coulee Dam, Washington; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grand_sons; 2 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 sister Margaret E. SHORT. Alice Winona KEATING, age 76, a resident of Big Bras d'Or and formerly of Toronto passed away peacefully Monday, December 5, 2005 at the Northside General Hospital, North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Born in Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Marion (REID) GOSSE. She resided most of her life in Toronto, where she married, raised her six children and then retired to Cape Breton Island seven years ago. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and grandmother. She is survived by: brother Gerald Edgar GOSSE, Newfoundland; sister in spirit Kay GOSSE, Calgary; her six children: Karen KEATING, Toronto, Jeannette (Lolek) MORAWIECKI, Big Bras d'Or, William KEATING (Michelle,) Toronto, Gale McGOWAN (Erick,) Penn., U.S.A., John KEATING, Big Bras d'Or, Marion CRAYMER (John,) Mississauga; grandchildren: Jennifer, Bryan, Jonathan, Justin, Kathryn, Sarah, Colton, Sam, Dora, Katelyn, Rebecca and Matthew.
