Beloved husband of Sara, father of Harry (Lillian) and Annette (David,) grandfather of Aaron FRYMER and Joanna GOOREVITCH, died Tuesday, March 1st, 2005 at Toronto Western Hospital surrounded by his loved ones who sang him to sleep in his beloved Yiddish. Dear friend, loyal khaver, Motel survived the Holocaust and built a new, rich, culturally vibrant, and committed life in Canada with his much-loved Sara. Motel was larger than life. He had enthusiasm, passion, love, and song in his soul. He enriched the lives of all he knew and left his magic in our hearts. He was a secular Jew, secure and confident in his origins, and in who he was. It permitted him to be open, accepting, questioning and embracing of everything that life had to offer. His Friends were drawn to him because they found nourishment and sustenance in his presence. We will miss you. We love you very, very much. Funeral on Thursday, March 3rd.
