It is with sad regrets the family of Les SMALE announce his passing on September 3, 2005 at the age of 93, at Lakeridge Hospital, Bowmanville. He was predeceased by his first wife, Pearl HOLLAND, and his second wife, Rhoda DAVIES. He leaves his daughter Mary Anne and husband Maurice RICHARDS, sons Hugh and wife Marlene SMALE, Bill SMALE, Dennis and wife Sue SMALE, and also his extended family. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Linda and Phillip GLAZE, Brett RICHARDS, Duane and Jennifer DORFMAN, Shane and Pepper DORFMAN, Andrew SMALE, Erik SMALE, and many great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville, on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. At his request, there will not be a service. GLAZERMAN, Lily (née RABINOVITCH)
Lily GLAZERMAN, daughter of the late Minnie and Leo RABINOVITCH was born in Ituna, Saskatchewan in 1920. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold GLAZERMAN of Calgary. She was the sister of David RABINOVITCH (deceased) and Goldie FURMAN. She passed away peacefully at Mt. Sinai Hospital on January 28, 2005, comforted by the love of her family including her daughters Brenda GLAZERMAN of Vancouver and Marsha ROTHSTEIN of Toronto and son-in-law Marty ROTHSTEIN. She was the adoring Baba of Rebecca and David EHRLICH, Michael ROTHSTEIN, Laura ROTHSTEIN, Tracy BOOTSMA, Jessica and Sara KNIGHT. Her great grandchildren Britney, Mariah (deceased,) Josh, Nicole and Michelle gave her much joy in her later years. Lily will be remembered fondly by her many Friends including the staff and residents of The Bradgate Arms. We will cherish the memories of her sweet and generous nature and in particular her delightful warm smile that drew us all to her. Dear mother of Rod and Jean JERVIS of Goderich and Greg and Tanna JERVIS of Burnaby, British Columbia. Also loved by her grandchildren Dana, Casie Rosalind, Ryan, Duaine and Daryl. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Irene GLAZIER. At Doreen's request cremation has taken place. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Michael Joseph O'HARA. Jeanette was born in Scotland and moved to Toronto in 1956. She was a longstanding employee of the Salvation Army and was blessed with many supportive Friends.
