assistant librarian at the Bradford Public Library. She and her
husband were devoted to their family, their church and their
community. She moved to Stratford in 1998. Friends may call at

Numerous other relatives also survive. In Thunder Bay Adam attended
Queen Elizabeth and Agnew Johnston Elementary schools and Churchill
High School. He graduated from Confederation College with a diploma
in General Arts and Science. As a youngster he was a member of
the Thunderbolts Swim Club and later competed in ski jumping
events such as the national junior competition at Calgary Olympic
Park. Adam spent most of his adult life working for the New Democratic
Party as a volunteer and as a staff member. He worked in numerous
elections across the country, served as campaign manager in one
by-election and was co-ordinator of the Fort Frances campaign
of Ontario New Democratic Party Leader Howard Hampton, Member
of Provincial Parliament. He also spent significant time conducting
membership drives across Ontario. For two years he worked as
an Administrative Assistant for the Hon. Lorne Nystrom, New Democratic
Party Member of Parliament in his Ottawa office and provided
initial co-ordination on the member's of Parliament last leadership
campaign. He had been involved in the labour movement as a member
and activist in United Food and Commercial Workers Canada, C.E.P.
and most recently International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
where he was pursuing an electrical apprenticeship. He was also
active with The Friends of Chippewa Park. A memorial service
to celebrate the life of Adam
ANGUS will be held on Friday, August
19 at 11: 00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Avenue,
Thunder Bay. A private family interment will occur at a later
time. A tree will be planted in Adam's memory at Chippewa Park.

Predeceased by his brother Denis
(2005) (Shirley) of Leicester, England. Arthur was a veteran
of the British Merchant Navy. As per his wishes, Arthur has been
cremated and a Private Family Service has taken place. In lieu
