521 Village Green Ave., in London. Following the visitation,
a service at the church celebrating Stuart's life will commence
at 3: 30 p.m. Blessings and sincere thanks to all the deserving
doctors, nurses, support staff and kidney dialysis team for such
exceptional care over the past two years. Donations to the Kidney

GARDINER, D.D.S. (née
NICHOLSON,) a remarkable
woman who pioneered female dentistry in Canada. As a young girl,
B.J. often entertained visitors with recitations from Wordsworth,
Tennyson and Longfellow and by dancing the highland fling. B.J.
flourished at Scarborough High School and went on to Victoria
College at University of Toronto where she was the editor of
the Varsity News and wrote for Wayne and Shuster. She married
Ralph in 1941; he had graduated in engineering from University
of Toronto in 1939 and went on to become an officer in the Canadian
Army and served throughout World War 2. For a period during the
war B.J. served in Halifax deciphering coded messages in letters
from Allied prisoners of war. B.J. raised her family in Toronto
and Montreal where she will be remembered as a loyal friend and
enthusiastic participant in many activities and groups. She was
a Big Sister and active in the University Women's Club and the
Garden Club in Toronto. B.J. and Ralph's first love was the many
idyllic summers spent with their cherished Friends at Pen Lake
in Muskoka. B.J. was a keen golfer and competitive sailor. She
was prominent at lake events and she delighted in visiting Friends
in her beloved motorboat. She wanted it to be known that the
many wonderful Friends she had the good fortune to meet in her
life had been a great blessing to her. The family wishes to thank
Dr. KENDAL and his team for their committed palliative care.

Devoted husband of Jean for almost 60 years and father of Don,

Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve 1940-46 Lieutenant- Commander.

Canadian companies. National President Boys and Girls Clubs Canada.
His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all his family

Hospital after a brief illness in her 95th year. Born in McKillop

and William. Vera graduated from Seaforth High School and she
attended Victoria University after which she was employed by
the Ministry of Transportation and Communication for 38 years.
Vera was a long time member of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church,
where she was a member of the Senior Choir, the Business and
Professional Women's Group, the MacLennan Group and she was Junior
Choir Mother and the Church Archivist. Vera was also a member
of the Soroptomist Club, English Speaking Union and she was a
volunteer driver for the Canadian Red Cross for many years. Vera
is survived by several cousins in Canada and the United States.

Died peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Mount Sinai
Hospital after a brief illness in her 95th year. Born in McKillop
Township, Huron County on May 29, 1911. Predeceased by her parents

GARDINER and twin brothers Alexander
and William. Vera graduated from Seaforth High School and she
attended Victoria University after which she was employed by
the Ministry of Transportation and Communication for 38 years.
Vera was a long time member of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church,
where she was a member of the Senior Choir, the Business and
Professional Women's Group, the MacLennan Group and she was Junior
Choir Mother and the Church Archivist. Vera was also a member
of the Soroptomist Club, English Speaking Union and she was a
volunteer driver for the Canadian Red Cross for many years. Vera
is survived by several cousins in Canada and the United States.

and 17 South of Mount Sinai Hospital and the nursing staff at
Village Park Retirement Home. A Memorial Service will be held
on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 11 o'clock at Timothy Eaton
Memorial Church, 230 St. Clair Avenue West. Cremation has taken
place. Family burial of cremated remains will be held on May
29, 2006 at Brussels Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations
may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 1920
