FILIPPELLI,
Raffaelle "
Ralph"
"I'll see you when I see you" he always said. Ralph
FILIPPELLI
passed very peacefully on the sunny afternoon of April 17, 2005.
In his room at Bridgepoint Health he was not alone. Surrounded
by loving wife Rosa, his loving children, Fernando, Angelina
and Gina, his children-in-law, Valerie, Peter and Brian and his
loving grandchildren, Jordon, Paolo, Marco, Morgan, Crystal and
Annette. Friends may visit at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst
St. on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday
at 9: 45 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Entombment at Beechwood
Mausoleum. To sum up a man's life in a few short lines is by
no means an easy task. Instead, we would like to share what we
think might give everyone some insight on who he was. To put
it best, Ralph was a very humble man who always found the greatest
pleasures in the simple things that most people take for granted.
A walk on College Street, a great cup of coffee, feeding the squirrels,
a wave hello and most of all his family, were just a few things
that he enjoyed. A small man with a big heart, Raffaelle had
nothing to offer people but a genuine Friendship, and for most,
this was more then enough. His ability to touch people and create
Friendships without prejudice was his gift to us. For most of
his life, Ralph felt that his role in his community and his life
as a whole was everything but significant. To say the least,
he was wrong, and he was everything but insignificant, even if
just to his family. Papa, Nonno, Amico, God has plans for us
all and sometimes it's only in what we leave behind that defines
how significant we all are. Raffaelle, "we'll see you when we
see you."
