Died 2 January 2005, I lost my loving and lovely wife, Sunday,
when she succumbed to the diseases that had plagued her later
years. She flew out to Northern Rhodesia, Africa in 1954 for
us to be married and we honeymooned for three days in Elizabethville,
Belgian Congo before living in Nkana for four years. Our son,
Robert, was born there and now has a wife (Darlene) and children
(David and Nicole). Her brothers, Frederick and Robert, both
died earlier, while her sister Billie, became her best friend.
Their relationship was of the deepest. We all grieve our loss.
Thanks are due to St. Joseph's Health Centre and its staff for

My life companion, to have, to hold, to love,
You were the one who was always by my side.
So unaware I foolishly believed that you would always be there,
I turned my head and you slipped away.
We'll cherish our memories, the good and the bad,
The tears and the laughter, and the wonderful love that we had.
Some are so special that we'll tuck them away,
But most of them we'll bring out and talk about each day.
We know that you are with us,
To help us through life's journey,
Our love will keep us going,
Till we meet again on the other side.
Always loved and remembered by your loving wife Margaret and
