It is with great sadness that our family announce the passing of our dear and loving mother and grandmother. In her 76th year, Violet passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2005. She recently moved from London, Ontario to Abbotsford, British Columbia to be closer to her loving son Jeff and devoted daughter-in-law Freda. She immediately fell in love with the mountains and scenery. She is also survived by her son Chris (Hazel) and 3 grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle and Andrea. Her family and all her Friends will sadly miss her. A memorial service will be held at Burquitlam Funeral Home in Vancouver on April 11, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m., cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers and if Friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Born in Caledonia, on December 26, 1911, daughter of the late Mina Beatrice (CAREY) and Mason Grey IVEY, she worked for the Sydenham District Hospital for many years. She will be sadly missed by: a daughter Patricia Ann EASTMAN and her husband Wilfred of Mooretown; 2 grandchildren, Cathy and Scott JACKLIN of Petrolia and David and Jacqueline BURROWS of Sarnia, 4 great-grandchildren, Megan, Cassie, Julie and Jason ("Nana we loved you") and a sister Marion MALM of Chatham. A sister Bertha IVEY, and 2 brothers, Robert and John IVEY, predecease her. Died peacefully after a brief illness, on Sunday, July 17, 2005, at Saint Mary's Hospital, age 85 years. Beloved husband and best friend of 61 years of Eleanor (SPRACKLIN;) dearest father of Cheryl and her husband Dr. Paul WHITE/WHYTE of Waterloo, Cynthia SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER- PALECZNY and her husband Paul of Kitchener and Reverend Fred SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER and his wife Vale of Woodstock, New Brunswick; loving grandfather of Cassandra ZEHR and her husband Greg, Robert MANSELL and Jameson BOUFFARD; great-grandfather of Calvin and Mitchell ZEHR. Predeceased by his parents Frederick William SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER and Helen EASTON. Harry served overseas during the Second World War and remained actively involved as a Lieutenant Colonel of the Scots Fusiliers of Canada. He was employed by the Economical Insurance Company for many years and continued to work part-time in his retirement at Erb and Erb Insurance Brokers. Harry was a member of the Kitchener Conestogo Rotary Club for 32 years and was recently made an honorary member of the club. Harry also taught business insurance to senior students at Wilfrid Laurier University for 18 years. He served on the Waterloo Regional Credit Union, Board of Directors, for many years, a member of the Probus Club Kitchener Waterloo and was a longtime member of Trinity United Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Harry with his family at the Edward R. Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2005 at Bayview Extendicare. She will be sorely missed by her husband Edward and son Daniel EASTON. June will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles Ave.) on Saturday, July 16 at 1 p.m. in the chapel with visitation an hour prior. If desired, memorial donations to the Bayview Extendicare would be appreciated by the family.

After a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Theresa HARTE (née DONNELLY) on Monday, October 24, 2005 at home surrounded by her family. Margaret was the loving wife of Gerard "Gerry" Francis HARTE; loving mother to Gerry (Margaret,) Brendan (Julie,) Colin (Lori), Patricia (Rob); sister of Martin, Reggie, Michael and Frank DONNELLY; grandmother to Ciara. Margaret's family gave her the most pleasure, to watch them succeed, excel and enjoy life gave her the greatest joy. Even through her illness Margaret was a pillar of strength to her family, providing them with unconditional love and reassurance. A special thank you to Doctor WARR, Doctor EASTON and Doctor LUI and Princess Margaret Hospital and the Brantford General Hospital and the Victorian Order of Nurses nurses. The family will receive Friends at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers on Wednesday at 8: 30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11: 00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 9 Waverley Street, Brantford. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Suddenly at Scarborough General Hospital on November 25, 2005, in his 76th year. Bruce, beloved husband of Heddy. Loving father of Laurie SELLARS (Steven) and Rob (Sandie.) Cherished grandfather of Derek and Dana. Dear brother to Phyllis PIETREBON of Texas. Bruce was a retired long-time employee of North American Life Assurance. A private service was held.
