DURGENSKY in Bratslav, Ukraine on April
5, 1912, she immigrated to Canada in 1927 with her mother Marianna
(ZAVATSKA) to be reunited with her father, Jacob
DURGENSKY who
had preceded them. The family settled in Kirkland Lake, Ontario
and then Larder Lake where Gabrielle married, raised her children
and spent much of her adult life. In 1984, Gabrielle moved to
Toronto where she lived for 17 years as a member of the St. Demetrius
community on LaRose Avenue and then, as her health began to fail,
for 4 years being kindly cared for at the West Park Long Term
Care Centre. The funeral service will be held at St. Cuthbert's
Anglican Church, 1399 Bayview Avenue on Tuesday, October 11th
from 12 noon to 1 p.m. with the service starting at 1 o'clock.
Reception to follow. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If desired,

Sylvan, Ontario in 1906, raised in Parkhill, Clayton worked in
various trades including teamster in the grain harvest of southern
Saskatchewan, meat cutter in Weston, Ontario and
in Sarnia for
Walker Brothers Stores until joining Imperial Oil Limited, Sarnia
in 1928. During World War 2, Clayton was assigned to Polymer
Corporation as an operators/supervisor to help build and start
the first Butyl Rubber production plant. After the war he returned
to Imperial Oil where he continued to work in supervision and
farm in Sarnia township until his retirement after 38 years of
service. He then went on to enjoy 40 years of retirement and
will be sadly missed by his family and the loving and caring
staff of Vision Nursing Home, who enjoyed listening to his music
renditions on the harmonica. There will be no visitation. Cremation
has taken place and a private family service will be held with
his interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may

was a former employee at Ford Motor Company, and later sat on
the Board of Directors and ran an activity group for the Canadian
Mental Health Association, was on the Provincial Committee for
the Ministry of Health, was a fundraiser for Prostate Cancer
Research and Education L.H.S.C., was past President of the Schizophrenia
Society, and also performed public speaking on education and
family support, all as a volunteer. John was a man who concentrated
his efforts towards helping the needy in the London community.
Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas in charge
of arrangements. Remembrances may be made to the Prostate Cancer
Research Foundation. The family would like to extend a sincere
special thanks to Dr.
KEENLEYSIDE, the Nurses on 4th Floor and

Harry, born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. October 14, 1924, served
in England and Europe during the second World War. Discharged
in 1946, Harry later graduated from the University of Saskatchewan
and completed post graduate studies at the University of Toronto.
He worked as a manager for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
at a number of Postings in Ontario, California and Nova Scotia
until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and member of the
Hamilton Golf and Country Club for more than 40 years. He became
a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Hamilton after returning
to Toronto to complete his career with the bank. Funeral Service
from Central Presbyterian Church, 165 Charlton Ave. West, Hamilton
on Saturday, January 29 at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date
in Victoria, British Columbia. The family would like to express
its gratitude to all the staff at Shalom Village in Hamilton
for the care Harry received during his final months. In lieu
