finishing her Ph.D. in Philosophy at University of Alberta in
Edmonton. She will be granted a posthumous Doctorate this year
from the University of Alberta. Anna was a highly sensitive,
gifted, courageous and caring person. She loved dogs, horses
and hockey. Anna will be remembered with great affection by her
many Friends and colleagues around the world. Donations can be

With immense sadness, the family announces the sudden loss of
Jim on Saturday, May 21st, 2005. Jim will be dearly missed by
his wife Sally, children Leslie and Mario, Rick and Edith and
Wayne and Bonnie. He was a loving and devoted grandfather to
Jessica, Meredith and Robert and Emily and Earl. Jim was dedicated
to making this world a better place. Memorial Service at Glenview
Presbyterian Church, 1 Glenview Avenue (Yonge Street, north of
Eglinton, south of Lawrence), on Thursday, May 26 at 3: 00 p.m.
Reception to follow from 4-6 p.m. If desired, donations to the
Rotary Club of Toronto-Eglinton Foundation, 44 Price Street,
Toronto, Ontario, M4W 1Z4 would be appreciated. Arrangements
entrusted to Morley Bedford Funeral Services.

past master of Zeredatha Lodge. Uxbridge Citizen of the Year
in 1993. Owned and operated Norm James Sales and Service Ltd. for
over 30 years with his son Glen. Involved in the Ontario Tractor
Pullers Assoc., The Allis Chalmers Club, York-Durham Heritage
Railroad and Uxbridge Museum Steam Show. The family will receive
Friends at the Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main St. S., Uxbridge
on Tuesday, December 20th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, December
21st from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic Service December

Royal Air Force Pilot (1939-1945) in Europe and the Pacific
Gordon passed away peacefully, in his sleep, on Saturday morning,
December 24, 2005. He leaves behind, "Ducky" (Merle Louise
DUCKWORTH,)
his closest friend for over 30 years; her daughters, Lucinda
MORELLI (Frank), Margaret (Meg)
FLETCHER (Don), and her grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. Gordon was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad
and Tobago. He came to Canada in 1966, and worked in the insurance
industry with Zurich Canada and Combined Insurance. He completed
his working days at the Toronto Transit Commission. He retired,
with Merle, to Elliot Lake. His final days were with Merle, in
Craiglee Nursing Home, in Scarborough. Gordon will be buried
in Elliot Lake in May 2006. A Memorial Service, for family and
Friends, will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006, in the Chapel,
at Craiglee Nursing Home, 102 Craiglee Drive, Scarborough.
