a brief illness. Roma was born on January 22nd, 1921 in Surrey,
England, the daughter of the late Jackson and Florence

The family immigrated to Canada where she attended Trafalgar
School in Montreal and then went to King's Hall, Compton, now

a period after the War she worked for Bell Telephone of Canada.

It is with great sorrow that we announce that David has gone
to be with the Lord after a long and hard fought battle with
cancer. He died very peacefully at home with his family by his
side on November 2nd, 2005. Deeply loved husband of Jacquelyn,
father of Mark and Kathryn, at long last reunited with his beloved
daughter Jennie and his father Harry. David will be very much
missed by his family in Northern Ireland: mother Irene, sisters
Ann (Brian) and Iris (Sam), nieces and nephews, great-nieces
and great-nephews; also, by his many Friends in Canada and Northern
Ireland and his colleagues at The City of Brampton. According
to David's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service

Lillian was a pioneer in bringing her scientific baking methods
to young women. Throughout the 1950s, she conducted baking classes
in her living room and later opened the first established cooking
school in Toronto. Although a woman of many accomplishments --
a businesswoman, an early feminist and the oldest living survivor
of breast cancer in Toronto -- her proudest achievement was her
family. Lillian leaves a living legacy in her grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and her series of cookbooks, the last of
which was published in her late eighties. Funeral from Benjamin's
Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west
of Dufferin), for service on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at
2: 30 p.m. Interment Pardes Shalom Cemetery. Shiva 117 Lord Seaton

Council at Woodhaven. Visitation will be held on Friday, January
28th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. followed by a Masonic Service at 8: 00
p.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue (3 lights
north of Hwy. 7), Markham, 905-305-8508. Funeral service in the
Chapel on Saturday, January 29th at 10 a.m. Interment at Pine
Hills Cemetery followed by a reception at the Pine Hills Cemetery

Father Desmond O'Connor, age 70 passed away peacefully at St.
Joseph's Mother House in North Bay on Thursday, December 1st,
2005 surrounded by members of his loving family and Sisters of
St.
Joseph.
Father
O'CONNOR fought a very courageous battle with
a rather aggressive cancer but he lived life to the fullest until
the very end. Father
O'CONNOR was born in Killaloe on February
14th, 1935. He attended St. Augustine's Seminary from 1954 until
his ordination on May 11th, 1961. He was Parish Priest at Nativity
Parish in Timmins from 1961 to 1971, at Holy Family Parish in
Englehart from 1971 to 1973, at Our Mother of Perpetual Help
in New Liskeard from 1972 to 1973, at Holy Name of Jesus Parish
in Kirkland Lake from 1973 to 1981 and returned to Nativity Parish
in Timmins from 1981 to 1994. Father Des was on sabbatical for
1994-1995 and then returned to Kirkland Lake and Englehart from
1995 until his retirement in June 2005. Father
O'CONNOR was also
an Associate of the Grey Sisters of Pembroke. Father

was predeceased by his brother Terence on June 3rd, 1962 his
father Patrick on March 3rd, 1964 and his mother Ethel (née
SULLIVAN)
on March 24th, 1995. He is survived by his sister Margaret and
