Passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 30, 2005 at his home in Lagoon City surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill is survived by his loving wife Marie (née SAINTHILL) of 48 years; cherished daughters Amy (Mikel MILLER) of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Susan (Steve DUGGAN) of Orillia, Ontario,▼ Lynne▼ (Kevin▼ SAWYER) of Toronto, Ontario; his beloved grand_sons Brenden Joseph, and twins Owen-James and William SPENCER sister Helen BIRD; sister-in-law Eleanor SAINTHILL; nephew Chris (Nancy) SAINTHILL; nieces Mary DUNCAN, Anne▼ SAINTHILL, Janet (Michael) SELLWOOD, and Mary (Grant ACKERMAN) BIRD; and eight great-nieces. He will be greatly missed by good Friends Willo and Paul DINOVO, Red▼ and Katherine HOBSON, Vaughn and Monica TAILOR/TAYLOR, and by his beloved Mister Cuddles. Highlights of his varied career included: General Manager Canadian Retail Hardware Association; General Manager Home Show; General Manager Canadian National Exhibition; President Marwill Inc.; Executive Director Ontario Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association; and past President of Cedarhurst Golf Club in Beaverton, Ontario. There will be a visitation at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton (705-426-5777) on Monday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 1: 30 p.m. in St. Paul's Anglican Church, 383 Osborne, Beaverton, Ontario. Beloved husband of the former Mary Kathleen HARRIS and loving father of Neil HAINES and his wife Carrie-Lynn of Willowdale and Darlene O'DONNELL of Florida. Sadly missed grandfather of Colin HAINES and Kelly O'DONNELL. Dear brother of Fern ALLEN of Barrie and Lucy THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of Duncan. Predeceased by brothers Stan, Leonard, Carman and George Jr. and a sister Hazel (late Bill) DINSMORE. On Sunday, September 25, 2005, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family at London Health Sciences Centre. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1941, Clayton came to Canada temporarily in 1970 to teach engineering at the University of Windsor, and stayed, when he met and married his loved Sherry almost 35 years ago. Proud and loving father of Adam (Keri), and Suzy. Loving grandpa to Kailey, Mason and Mia. Survived by his brother Donald (Ann) of Boston, Massachusetts and by his father-in-law Norm DINSMORE. Also leaves his sister-in-law Carol (Ken) McAVOY, brother-in-law Rick (Sue) DINSMORE as well as several nieces and nephews. Clay was a professional engineer who founded several small businesses. He was a Past-President of the Rotary Club of London where he maintained perfect attendance for 33 years. A second chance has been given to several others as a result of his generous gift of organ donations. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 30th, 2005 at 11: 00 a.m. Rev. Passed away peacefully in Toronto on Friday, August 12th, 2005 at the age of 83, with his family at his side. Predeceased by his sister Gladys, and two brothers Harvey and Clifford. He leaves behind his wife Elizabeth (née GARLAND,) son Robert James DENNY and his wife Grace of Mississauga, daughter Shirley Ann DURK and her husband Al of Oakville, one granddaughter Jacqueline DINSMORE of Toronto, grand_sons Iain DURK of Guelph, Christopher DENNY of Toronto and Jonathan DENNY of Mississauga, and one beautiful great-granddaughter Alexandra DINSMORE. Jack was a dedicated employee of the Toronto Star and was also very proud to have been a member of the St. Clair Masonic Lodge for many years. A private family service was held on Tuesday, August 16th and interment was in the veterans' section of Pine Hills Cemetery. Sadly missed by family and Friends.
