Ev, a World War 2 Veteran who served in Italy, returned in 1945 and began a successful 35 year career with the Etobicoke Hydro. The family would like to extend it's appreciation and thanks to Maria ARVAI, a loving and devoted caregiver, and to all the staff at the Toronto Grace Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their dedication and support. Died peacefully on May 5, 2005 in his ninety first year at the Montreal General Hospital. Sadly missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Barbara (PLACE,) by his son David, daughter-in-law Gigi (Currie), and by his cherished grandchildren, Lindsay and Stephanie. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, colleagues, patients, and Friends of all ages. Deep gratitude to his niece Diana DEROCHE and to his second family Tom, Nancy, Katie and Annie THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON. Their love and support have been extraordinary. A caring and devoted husband, father, and physician. Fred was truly one of a kind. He had a long and happy run, which he loved and lived to the fullest. Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 222 Highway 20 (Cartier, Exit 49) Pointe Claire on Thursday May 12 at 3 p.m., preceded there by a short visitation at 2.30. Agata was always adored by her grandchildren Sam (Vilma), Louis (Adriana), Suzanne, Len (Mary), Frank Jr. (Fortuna), Joanne (Tony), Patricia (Nick), Roberto (Lucie), Gina, Rosella (Gino), Joe (Cinzia), Agata and finally Giancarlo. Peacefully and with serenity in Victoria, British Columbia of complications from myeloma. Survived by his sweetheart and best friend of 57 years, Hope. Wonderful, loving Dad to his "girls" Ruth, Meribeth and Pat, and to his buddy Eddie. Devoted grandfather of Emily and Andrew. Also survived by sister Anne, and brothers Peter and Victor. An orthodontist in Ottawa for nearly 50 years, Mike helped bring beautiful smiles to thousands of children and adults alike. Active in volunteer work, he served with many community organizations including the Kiwanis and Shriners' Clubs. He was also an enthusiastic curler and long-time member of the Royal Ottawa Golf Club, who proudly shot his age at 76, and who had as much fun helping others -- particularly young people -- improve their swings as playing a round of golf himself. Deepest thanks and appreciation to all our kind Friends who have been so supportive, as well as to the exemplary nursing and medical professionals in the Royal Jubilee Hosptial's RP1 and Emergency Units, and in the Victoria Hospice. Particular thanks to Dr. Donna Cuthbert and Dr. Kevin Wilson who were so caring. By his request, no funeral will take place. After a short illness, with his family at his side at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg, on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, Andre Joseph BOSQUART of Tillsonburg, formerly of Strathroy and Langton in his 80th year. Born in Houthem, W.F. Belgium on October 5, 1925. Dear son of the late Camiel BOSQUART and the late former Helen VANCASTEELE. Andre was a retired tobacco farmer, a member of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg and a member of Saint Mary's Knights of Columbus, Council 3212, Tillsonburg.
Predeceased by his wife of 53 years Ginette (ACCOU) BOSQUART, June 20, 2002. Much loved father of two daughters Jackie CAMPBELL, Hayley Station, Ontario and Sue (Carl) DERTINGER, Tillsonburg. Proud grandpa of Tara and Tyler CAMPBELL and Angie and Andrew DERTINGER. Survived by one brother Norbert BOSQUART in Belgium and the late Gertrude (1986). Also predeceased by two brothers and four sisters in Belgium. Resting at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg until Monday morning July 11, 2005, thence to Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg for Mass of Christian Burial at 10: 00 a.m. by Reverend Fr.
