Born in Glastonbury, England, passed away peacefully at his home in Kitchener on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy Kuntz KIEFFER. Loving father of Christopher (Leda) of Sudbury, Wendy GRELIK (Wally) of Kitchener, Stephen (Samantha) of Burlington, and Patricia NOLAN of Kitchener. Grandfather of Jonathon, Matthew and Jenny GRELIK. Stepfather of John KIEFFER and Mary Jo MAKARCHUK of Toronto, Dan (Stephanie) KIEFFER of Edmonton, and James (Tina) KIEFFER of Saint John, New Brunswick. Step-grandfather of Elise, Megan, Joceylen, Samantha and Madison. Son-in-law of Rosina KUNTZ of Formosa. Frank is survived by 1 brother Norman (Zeeta) and sisters Ivy BURGESS, Joan Davis (Jeff,) and Vivian Kenrick (Ken) in England, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Ontario. Predeceased by his first wife, June (née ARROWSMITH) and sister Vera BIRCH. Frank served in the Second World War as a Radio-telegrapher/Tail Gunner with the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy. After the war, he followed the family tradition of employment within the shoe and leather industry. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and joined Clarke's Shoes of Canada, and several years later began a multi-year career in retail. In recent years, he and his first wife June operated the Helen Anne Shop in Waterloo. Frank attended St. Georges Anglican Church, Kitchener. Frank's family will receive relatives and Friends on Friday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener (749-8467). Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment Woodland Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home. After a full life, in his 88th year, Harry (Hank) Francis RAMMAGE of London passed away at Parkwood Hospital on September 14, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Alma Irene (Rene) RAMMAGE. Loving father of Judy MORRIS (David EELEY,) and Hélène Frances Rammage PREISZ (Paul CULLIGAN.) Cherished Grandpa of Stephen MORRIS (Jennifer,) Teri Ambrose, and Marni RADER (Floyd.) Great-Grampa of Michael, Jordan, Samantha and Megan. Hank retired in 1978 after serving many years on the London Fire Department. Visitation will be held at the Lloyd R. With dignity and courage, after a valiant battle with cancer, Glen passed away, on July 31, 2005, at the age of 65. A longtime resident of Hamilton, he was with the Boilermakers for 39 years and had retired 7 years ago. son of the late Mary and Clarence GRAY/GREY, he is survived by brother Jack GRAY/GREY of Ottawa, sisters Grace SMITH (Dave) of Nova Scotia and Anne CULLIGAN (Don) of New Brunswick, many nieces, nephews and Friends. Died at Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Thursday, November 24, 2005. Born Frederick Montford LEATHAM in Ingersoll on April 16, 1913. Adopted at an early age by Henry and Catherine JUDD. His wife of 45 years, Ruth (MARTIN) JUDD, (R.N.) died in 1988. He is survived by daughter Janice SORRIE (Bill) of Peterborough and son Evan of London. Granddaughter Jessica SORRIE had a wonderful relationship with her Papa. Lee will be missed by his companion and longtime friend Greta SKINNER and her family. Birth sister Ruth CULLIMORE lives in Victoria, British Columbia. As an adult Lee became acquainted with his cousins in the Leatham family and appreciated being included in family events including a trip to Ireland in 1991. During years spent in Chatham and Ingersoll Lee was very active in his community and he had wonderful Friends and neighbours. BASSI, Elizabeth (née CULLIVAN)
Passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2005 at William Osler Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer, which she endured with dignity, grace and a sweetness of spirit that amazed family, Friends and medical staff alike. Elizabeth leaves behind her loving husband of over 50 years, Kris BASSI, son Kristopher of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and daughter Sheila and son-in-law David KELLETT of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. She is also survived by her grand_sons Joel BROWN and Elliot BROWN and stepgrandchildren Shane BLONDIN and Amelia BLONDIN, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in the United States, Ireland and England. Born on December 29, 1928 near Ballyjamesduff in County Cavan, Ireland, Elizabeth was one of seven children born to Thomas and Mary CULLIVAN. In 1948, she left Ireland to practice nursing in London, England. An accomplished nurse, Elizabeth met her beloved Kris in 1952 and they were married December 23, 1954. In 1957, they made the decision to move to Canada and settled in Toronto where they have made their home ever since. Elizabeth was a gregarious, vivacious, sparkly woman whose Irish charm and generosity of spirit touched everyone she came in contact with. She and Kris enjoyed travelling and went to many destinations in North America and elsewhere. She left a strong impression wherever she went and was particularly popular in Yellowknife as a result of visits she and Kris made to Sheila and Dave. Her love for her family, her adopted country Canada and for her Ireland was unwavering. She is forever on our minds and always in our hearts.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Rd. (north of Eglinton). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Gloria on July 4, 2005 at her summer home in Muskoka surrounded by her family. She demonstrated pride, dignity and strength during her struggle with cancer. Gloria was the loving wife of the late Carl F. HERRMANN and the cherished mother of Peter (Gail), Mariann (Graham), Karen (Gerry), Pat (Rick), Carl (Cindy) and Gloria (Drew) and adored by her grandchildren David, Corey, Christopher, Laura, Heather, Taylor, Kyle, Matthew and the late Jonathan. Gloria was born in Toronto on April 22, 1925 and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1950. She enjoyed winters in Naples, Florida and summers at lake Joseph in Muskoka. She loved golf, swimming, tennis and bridge. The family offers many thanks to the Sunnybrook hospital staff, with special appreciation to Dr. OSBORNE for his support. Thanks also to the Temmy Latner Centre at Mt. Sinai Hospital. A funeral mass will be held at Saint John the Baptist Church, Minnett, Lake Rousseau, Muskoka., Monday, July 11 at noon followed by a celebration of her life at Muskoka Lakes Golf and C.C. Unexpectedly, at the London Health Sciences Centre, on Tuesday, December 27th, 2005, Richard "Dick" Francis McGLYNN of Tillsonburg at the age of 65 years. Richard ("Dick") was a forklift operator at Sivco, Ingersoll (for over 20 years) until a sudden and debilitating stroke. Born October 14, 1941, in Hamilton, son of the late Wm. "Bill" McGLYNN (born: WINGHAM) and the late former Jean SLATER (born: CULTUS.) Much loved husband and best friend of over 40 years of "Gerry" (Clary) McGLYNN. Much loved father and father-in-law of: Chris McGLYNN; Cindy and her husband Peter GRAY/GREY; and Casey McGLYNN, all of Toronto. Proud and loving grandfather of Marcus and Eric McGLYNN and Ruby GRAY/GREY. CULVER, Arthur Truman Jr.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of 'Art' CULVER in Vancouver, British Columbia. Born on March 25, 1926 in Rochester, New York, he passed peacefully October 1, 2005 with his loving family by his side. A passionate and dedicated musician, he studied violin at the Eastman School in Rochester with Millard Taylor. His accomplishments as a violinist included a B.Mus., Performer's Certificate 1950, Tanglewood Fellow 1967 + '68, Grand Teton Music Festival 70-73, 90. He lent his aplomb, talent, humour and creativity to the Rochester Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony, and Vancouver (B.C.) Symphony Orchestras. Arthur was also active as a photographer (studied with Alexander Leventon), and avid pilot. As an electrical/ acoustical research and testing engineer (his specialty in U.S. Navy, mid-1940's) he worked for International Business Machines Corporation, Stromberg Carlson and General Dynamics. His hobbies and interests were myriad. All who knew this sweet, talented man will remember his wide-ranging intellect, glad humour, and kind, generous heart. He will be missed as a wonderful brother, husband, father and grandfather by his sisters (Claralee and Ruth), wife (Sharon), three children (Eric Bruce and Sarah), and two grandchildren (Vanessa and Maxwell).
