The death of G.R. "Pat"
PATERSON, P.H.D. occurred on Thursday,
December 29th, 2005 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie,
Ontario. Dr.
PATERSON was Emeritus Professor of the Faculty of
Pharmacy, University of Toronto. He was also the first Executive
Director of the Hannah Institute for the History of Medicine.
He was born in Hamilton July 31st, 1919, the
son of the late
Peter (1960) and
Ethel (1966)
PATERSON. He leaves to mourn, his
two sons, Andrew of Toronto and Charles (Lucy) of Barrie, and
his grand_son, Daniel. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife
Ida (GRIFFITH) (2001) and his brother Bruce (1955.) He is also
survived by his sister, Yvonne (Mrs. Harold
CROMWELL,
Brantford)
and by a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will
be held at the Trinity Anglican Church (Collier St.) in Barrie,

CRONE on Tuesday, August 9th, 2005 at Lakeshore Lodge in Toronto.
Her strength and determination were an inspiration to all who
knew her. She will be greatly missed by her children Harvey and
his wife Bea; Judy and her husband Al and her grandchildren Jordan,
Charlotte and Ewan. Although she left Illinois many years ago,
her heart has always remained with her sisters Robin, Marie and
Jeanette and her brother Charles. She will also be missed by

Lois was born on March 24, 1927 in
Toronto, Ontario. Lois loved theatre and was actively involved
in Toronto with the St. Anthony's Young Peoples' Theatre. There
she met her future husband, Bob. They were married in Toronto
in 1949 and settled in London in 1958, where Bob was employed
with 3M Canada. Lois had a very active life including memberships
in the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire (Dr. Saunders
Chapter), London Curling Club and Greenhills Golf and Country
Club. Lois followed her love of knowledge to U.W.O., where she
earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991. The family would
like to extend their sincere gratitude to Longworth Long Term
Care, where Lois lived for almost three years. We will never
forget the love and kindness shown to her, especially from the
Lily neighbourhood and staff. We would also like to thank Dr.
Dana WINTERBURN for her care and kindness. Visitors will be received

Hospital following a battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Catherine
(CRONIN) for 64 years. Loving father of Lawrence (Madeline) of

of Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island. Wallie will be lovingly remembered
by grandchildren Andrea (Ken), Geoffrey (Sydney), Elizabeth (Grant),

Dear brother of Lex (Miriam), Doug (Jean) and the late Ken (Marquita).
Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, other relatives
and Friends. Wallie attended Mount Allison University and thereafter
completed his medical degree at Dalhousie University, Class of
1938, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He then specialized at the Cleveland
Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, Professor of Radiology at Dalhousie
University. Wallie and Kate moved to Toronto in 1954 where he
became in Radiologist-in-Chief at St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto.
Wallie was Past President of the Canadian Association of Radiology.
An ardent Rotarian, he was recently acknowledged with a 50 year
service award. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday,
November 16, 2005 at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street,

graveside service will take place at Christ Church Gregory Cemetery

Hospital following a battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Catherine
(CRONIN) for 64 years. Loving father of Lawrence (Madeline) of
Oakville; Robert (Muffy) of Bend, Oregon and Gregory (Mimi) of
Port Renfrew, Vancouver Island. Wallie will be lovingly remembered
by grandchildren Andrea (Ken), Geoffrey (Sydney), Elizabeth (Grant),
Meredith, Zoe, and Tosh, and great-grandchildren Laura and Luke.
Dear brother of Lex (Miriam), Doug (Jean) and the late Ken (Marquita).
Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, other relatives
and Friends. Wallie attended Mount Allison University and thereafter
completed his medical degree at Dalhousie University, Class of
1938, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He then specialized at the Cleveland
Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. Professor of Radiology at Dalhousie
University, Wallie and Kate moved to Toronto in 1954 where he
became Radiologist-in-Chief at St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto.
Wallie was a past President of the Canadian Association of Radiology.
An Ardent Rotarian he was recently acknowledged with a 50 Year
Service Award. Family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November
16, 2005 at the the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville,
905-844-3221, from 5-7 p.m. followed by reception. A graveside
service will take place in the Christ Church Gregory Cemetery
in the Muskokas he loved. As expression of sympathy, donations
to the research at St. Joseph's Hospital or Toronto Hospital
for Sick Children would be appreciated. The family gratefully

Of Ethel passed away at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria
Campus on Tuesday, November 15th, 2005 in his 94th year. Born
in Toronto on September 28th, 1912, Alf was a Second World War
veteran serving overseas in Europe with the Royal Canadian Corps
of Signals. Alf was active in his community being a life member
of the Brampton Lion's Club, a past president of the Brussels
Lion's Club, a past District Deputy Grand Master for the North
Huron Masonic District and past master of Saint John's Lodge No.
284 in Brussels and a 60 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert Street, Brussels.
The funeral service will be conducted from Saint John's Anglican
Church, 633 Turnberry Street, Brussels on Friday, November 18th
at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Ethel. Memorial
donations may be made to charity of one's choice. A Legion Service
under the auspices of Brussels Legion No. 218 Royal Canadian
Legion followed by a Masonic Service under the auspices of St.
John's Lodge No. 284 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons will be
held at the funeral home Thursday evening starting at 9: 00 p.m.

With her family and her Friends at her side Stacie Vanessa
KEELER
(née WHITE/WHYTE) lost her 32 month battle with breast cancer. Her
true and undeniably great spirit carried her through to the end
of her journey, the journeys end where we all pray she found
her solstice, her angels, her peace, joy and comfort. She is
survived by her husband Steve, son Brian, mother Winnifred, father
Don, sister's Valerie and Wendy, mother and father-in-law Pam
and John MONTCRIEF, sister-in-law Anne and all her nieces and
nephews. She joins her step-dad Eldon
CROOK in the hereafter.
Thanks to the nurses and doctors who helped in time of Stacie's
needs. She will be deeply missed and loved. Donations of any
kind to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. On May 21st
2006 at 11: 00 a.m. there will be a memorial held at Waterworks
Park in Saint Thomas, Ontario. where Stacie found her peace and
solitude. All are welcome.
