Ross was predeceased by his "bonnie" wife Jean STENSON (née WILLARD,) his partner, Catherine DUBOIS, and two of his beloved children, Willard Ross STENSON and Lynda CUSHING. He is survived by his dear sister, Verna STENSON of Montreal, and loving daughters Gail CARSON and Gloria BISHOP. Ross was the fond "Patron" of nine grandchildren: Allison BISHOP and Leith BISHOP (Glen WATSON); Dorothy CARSON (Rob CRABTREE), Melissa CARSON and Brennan CARSON (Sue); Stephan STENSON; and Ross CUSHING (Jen), Blake CUSHING (Holly), and Nicholas CUSHING. His nine great-grandchildren Shea and Trevor BISHOP- DUFFY, Hayley BISHOP, John, Megan and Blake CARSON, Duncan, Justin and Miranda CRABTREE gave him particular pleasure in his final years. Pat was born on April 18, 1924 and was the daughter of the late A.E. (Bert) NAYLOR and his wife, Edith. Pat was predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert (Bob) CRADDOCK and later by her dear companion Tom DOOLEY. She▼ is lovingly missed by her cherished daughters, Sue HETHERINGTON (Gary▼) and Edie CRADDOCK and loving granddaughter Amy; her deeply devoted brother Donald NAYLOR (Deborah▼) and niece and nephews Gord, Don Jr., Rick, Lisa (Doty) and Shawn NAYLOR and Gary and Brian CRADDOCK, and all of Pat's extended family will miss her deeply for her caring and generous affection.
Pat followed her mother's career into nursing, graduating from Toronto General Hospital in 1946 and served with distinction, later extending her skills upon all of her devoted loved ones.
Pat was an ardent curler and cherished her life-long Friendships with her nursing and curling companions. The family is particularly grateful for the dedicated, warm and affectionate home and hospital care provided by Mary and the attentive and professional doctors and nurses at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

World War 2 - Queen's Own Rifles - Landed D-day Juno Beach June 6th, 1944 and helped liberate Holland May 8th, 1945. Caring, loving, always putting others before himself, William James LEWIN passed away in his 86th year. William leaves behind his loving wife and best friend May, of 64 years. Loving and devoted father of Steve (Ainsley); Gary; Marilyn (Bruce); and forever "Pop" to Greg OLSON. Proud grandfather of Mike (Joslyn,) Andrea, Chad, Chris and Charlene and great-grandfather of Dylan and Isabel. Dear brother of Dolly (George CRADDOCK.) Alice leaves her son Bryan and his partner Alan, her son Peter and granddaughter Elizabeth, husband Dale and great-granddaughter Zoe. Alice was predeceased by her husband Trevor, son Rick and daughter-in-law Mary (Peter). Alice enjoyed her years in the Canadian Navy in World War 2 stationed in Halifax and was active in her later years as a volunteer for the Toronto Court Volunteer Support Services and the Ontario Stroke Recovery Association. She remembered fondly years spent at her cottage at Spar Lake in Haliburton. Alice was a loving and caring person to her family and Friends and will be greatly missed. A resident of Dresden, passed away suddenly at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Windsor on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at the age of 62. Born in Chatham, son of the late Garnet and Helen (CRAGG) CARTHER. Beloved husband of Sharon (HAWKINS) CARTHER. Loving father of Michele STOCKING, Michael and Elly CARTHER, George and Kim CARTHER all of Dresden, Kenneth and Karen CARTHER of Kingsville. Died peacefully with his family around him at Royal Gardens, Tuesday, March 1st. Born in London, England, July 30, 1920. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Florence (TREBILCOCK;) his children Dr. Paul CRAGG (Leigh,) Elizabeth LASENBY (Roger,) and his loving grandchildren Sarah, Scott, Ted, Jason, Steven and Andy, plus great-grandchildren Osha and Aislin. Visitation will be Friday, March 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Andrew's Church, 441 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, followed by a service at 1 p.m. A reception will be held between 2: 30 and 4:00 p.m. at Royal Gardens Retirement Residence, 1160 Clonsilla Ave., Peterborough.
