FOOTE, M.D., (F.R.C.S.C) on April 26th, 2005 at age 67 in Jonesboro,
Arkansas.
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, and raised in Montreal, he was
Assistant Professor of Surgery at McGill University, Chief of
Urology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and a urologist at The Royal
Victoria Hospital.

Homicide is city's 47th

A 39-year-old Toronto man who died in hospital this week after
a fight with another man has become the city's 47th homicide
of the year.
The victim has been identified as Quang
NGUYEN.
The cause of
death was injury to the head.
Police say Mr.
NGUYEN was injured at about 3: 50 a.m. last Saturday
on 8th Street, near Islington Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard
West, when a man punched and kicked him, causing him to fall
and hit his head on the concrete sidewalk.
While the other man fled the scene, Friends of Mr.
NGUYEN took
him to hospital, where his condition deteriorated. He was then
moved to the intensive-care unit at St. Michael's Hospital and
put on life support, but he died Monday.

Man hurt in weekend fight dies in hospital

A Rexdale strip club owner has been charged with manslaughter
after a fight in Etobicoke Saturday morning.
Police originally charged Peter
CONSTANTINE, 30, of Toronto,
with aggravated assault following an altercation on 8th St. around
3: 50 a.m. Saturday that sent Quang
NGUYEN to hospital.
NGUYEN, 39, was pushed, punched and kicked during the fight,
police said, and then fell and hit his head.
He was taken to hospital by Friends that morning and put on life
support.
Police said
CONSTANTINE and
NGUYEN did not know each another.
The fight began after a verbal dispute, police said.
The incident was reported to police Monday and
CONSTANTINE was
arrested for aggravated assault.
NGUYEN died Monday in hospital; an autopsy concluded the cause
of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

from 7-9 p.m. A Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday
