Also loved by his 10 grandchildren, his 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Donal was a life member of the 48th Highlanders and Victory Branch No. 317 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Husband of the late Audrey (June) HUNTER (nee COLLIER) and father of Dwight (Nancy) HUNTER, Patricia Dale (Jack) MILMINE, Danna (Don) MENZIES, Darryl (Claudine) HUNTER, all of Saint Thomas and predeceased by an infant son Drew. Grandfather of Jayson (Jen) HUNTER (Ottawa) Aaron HUNTER, Patty (Aaron) SMITH, Ashlee (Dave) RATTRAY (London), Amber MENZIES, Timothy HUNTER and Ashley HUNTER. Also survived by two great grandchildren Mason and Maggie HUNTER (Ottawa.) Born in Southwold, Ontario on February 19, 1922, he spent most of his life on the farm where he was born, moving to Saint Thomas in 2000. Ron worked in the Maintenance Department of the Saint Thomas Psychiatric Hospital until he retired. He was an Elder at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pinafore Congregation, where he will always be remembered for his zealous work there. Cremation has already taken place with interment of ashes in McArthur Cemetery, Southwold. Dear mother-in-law of Jacqueline CHAMBERS of Sweaburg. Anna will be missed by her thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
