The captain of the Appointment II has gone peacefully to see
his navigator (Dorothy
KNIGHT née
CHEVERIE) and has pulled into
his final port on Sunday November 6, 2005 surrounded by his family
in his 64th year. He will be sadly missed by his partner Ann
BIBBY and her family. Also fondly remembered by his children

PALANGIO.) He will
also be sadly missed by his mother Isabell

James L. KNIGHT of Parry Sound, by all his brothers Charlie (Rose)
of Sarnia, Ted (Cathy) of Parry Sound, Robert (Holly) of Toronto
and Donald of Georgian Bay and all his nieces, nephews, family
members and Friends. Jimmie was an avid fisherman who could always
be found on 'the spot' on Lake Nipissing. He also enjoyed boating,
hunting, snowmobiling and traveling abroad. He was past president
of the Kinsmen and Rotary Clubs of North Bay, an active member
of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 23, Masonic Lodge and Shrine
Club. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home, North Bay
(705-472-8810) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and again on
Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated
at Corpus Christi Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment to
follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please
donate to his favourite charity that works toward world peace
and understanding, the Rotary Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer
Society.

Peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Tuesday,
May 17, 2005, after a mercifully short battle, Paul, our husband,
father, friend and Popa, was called home to be with God at the
age of 65. His loss is mourned by his beloved wife of 41 years
Patricia. Loving father of Bruce (Lori), Lauren, and Brian (Kathy).
Loved Popa of Spencer, Braydon, Madisyn, Kylar, Tylen, Scarlett
and Jaden. Dear brother of Denise (Jim)

(Vivian). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews,
and a large group of loving Friends, co-workers and associates.
He was a retired member of the Peel Regional Police Force, beginning
his career with the Port Credit Force and was an officer for
34 years. Paul was involved for many years with the Port Credit
Minor Hockey Association and the Mississauga Hockey League where
he met and worked with many wonderful people, and developed a
love for volunteer work. He has been deeply involved with the
Knights of Columbus, Past Grand Knight 4th Degree, Director of
the Civitan Club, and was a long standing member of Saint Mary
Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church. Mr.
McALPINE will be resting
at the funeral home of Skinner and Middlebrook Ltd., 128 Lakeshore
Rd. E. (1 block west of Hurontario St.), Mississauga (parking
off Ann St.) with memorial visitation on Wednesday evening from
7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will
be held at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 11 Peter
Street at Lakeshore Rd. on Friday, May 20th, 2005 at 11 a.m.
