Born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, February 26th, 1946 daughter of the late Eugène GARAND and the late former Marie-Jeanne LECLERC. Much loved wife of 42 years of Nazaire ROUSSELLE. Loved mother of Lynn and her husband Richard BATTY of Delhi, and Nancy ROUSSELLE of Tillsonburg. Proud "Memère" of Roselyn. Beloved daughter-in-law of Marguerite (DUGUAY) ROUSSELLE of Mattice, Ontario and the late Alfred ROUSSELLE (May 15, 1980.) Self-employed logger with the Marozsan Logging, Langton, and Cureman for various area Tobacco Farms. Much loved husband and best friend of 45 years of Helen (MEKKER) MAROZSAN. Loving father and father-in-law of George MAROZSAN Jr. of Langton; Angeline and her husband Dale VRANCKX of St. Williams; and Gary MAROZSAN of R.R.#2 Courtland. Mr. Ronald L. JOHNSTON a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at C.K.H.A. "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg at the age of 59. Ron was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Norman and Bernice (KELLER) JOHNSTON. Beloved husband of Gail (EASTCOTT) JOHNSTON. Loving father and father-in-law of Amy and Brian EVERAERT of Sombra. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Bob JOHNSTON of Saint Thomas, Sharron PINSONNEAULT, Brian and Joan JOHNSTON, all of Wallaceburg, Darrell and Tracy JOHNSTON of Edmonton, Dawn and Ken CRAWFORD of St. Catherines and Greg JOHNSTON also of Wallaceburg. Joe was predeceased by his mother Laura (PEKAAR,) brother Adrian and granddaughter Jessica BARR. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. ALLEN, Robert Greer
Bob ALLEN passed away quietly on August 20th, 2005 in Toronto after a long struggle with cancer. Born in Toronto on October 19, 1917 he was a graduate of Trinity College at the University of Toronto, and served in the communications corps of the Canadian Forces during World War 2. Bob began his career with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation writing and producing radio drama for Andrew Allan in the late 40's. He was invited to help launch television drama when Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television went on air in 1952 and was one of the architects of Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's 'Golden Age' of drama throughout the 50s and 60s. He finally retired in the late 80s after writing producing directing and executive producing thousands of hours of television drama for such shows as Sunshine Schetches Festival, Folio, Opening Night The Great Detective and Seeing Things. He contributed enormously through his passion, intelligence, knowledge and generosity to the development of two generations of talent in the Canadian film and television industries, always filtered though his unique sense of humour. He will be greatly missed. Bob is survived by his loving wife Rita Greer ALLEN (née WEYMAN) nephews and nieces Ian WEYMAN, Astrid WEYMAN, Wendy Thomson, Cindy Bisaillon, Jenny Weyman CHARTOFF, John WEYMAN, Peter WEYMAN, James WEYMAN, Pief WEYMAN, Richard PARTINGTON and their families. Passed away at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital, Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 88 years of age. Father of Jane (Jim REID,) Oakville Wayne (Mollie), London; Glenn, Toronto; Larry, Lethbridge, Alberta. Survived by siblings Cecilia REID, Florence INGLIS, Red (Vivian,) Theresa NOBLE and Frank (Shirley.) He'll be missed by his granddaughter, Lisa WEBBER, and many nieces and nephews, as well as his dear friend Hilda SCHRADER. We are grateful to Scarborough Extendicare for making Dad's last three months a happy and comfortable time. Honouring Henry's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
