Long time resident of west-end Toronto and lately of New Horizons Tower, passed away on October 2, 2005. Edna was born January 5, 1924 in Harrisons Corners, raised in St. Andrew's West and graduated in nursing from Saint Mary's Hospital in Montreal. Predeceased by parents Mary Ann McDONALD and Stephen CAVANAGH, siblings Janet, CAMILLA, Teresa and Thomas and friend Jaroslav SLOBODIAN. Edna enriched the lives of family and Friends and is lovingly remembered by her sister Ada, several nieces and nephews, Maurice McNEIL, Robert McNEIL, Kathryn SHERK and her son Chris SHERK. Edna's faith was fundamental in her life. She appreciated the support provided by Kathryn and Chris in remaining active in her parish and community in her later years. Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Martin HILBERT in the Oratory Chapel at Holy Family Church at 1372 King Street West on Friday, October 14th at 10 a.m. Committal will follow later in St. Andrew's West.

Donald George COLES, age 89 of Sarnia, died on Friday, May 20th, 2005 at Bluewater Health Mitton Site, Sarnia. Born in Ingersoll, he was the son of the late Roy and Elizabeth (BELL) COLES. He is survived by his daughters, Carole (Bob) CAMM of Truro, Nova Scotia, and Betty (Bob) HARLOW of Cambridge, Ontario, grandchildren, Rob (Kathy) of Moncton, Rick (Tina) of Truro, Andy of Halifax, Kristi (George) of Truro and David (Linda) of Kitchener, great-grandchildren Courtney, Jamie, Jeffrey and Brendon CAMM, Jeffrey and Nathan HARLOW and Benjamin DOYLE. Don will be sadly missed by his faithful dog Mickey. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was predeceased by his loving wife Frances (CLARKE) COLES, his brother Russell and grand_sons Tracey CAMM and Sam HARLOW.
Don was well known as the Owner/Operator of a Bowes Distributorship for many years in Sarnia and area. Memorial services will be held from the D.J. Ron was the cherished husband, partner and closest friend of Wilma (née VAN CAMP) for 53 years. Much-loved father of Mary EDGEWORTH (partner Leslie) and Nancy WEBB (husband Ron) and his predeceased son Charles. Proud "[Poppa" of Matthew, David, Michael, Christine, Scott, and dearly loved "Grandpa" of Simon. Dear brother of Arthur, and brother-in-law of M.M. VAN CAMP and Jessie GUNTER. In mourning, we also celebrate that his life was so exceptionally well lived.

After serving Canada as a pilot in World War 2, Ron graduated from University of Toronto in 1951. He continued to fulfill his lifelong love of aviation first as a pilot with Spartan Air Services and later as a professional aeronautical engineer with Department of National Defence.
His family, Friends and community all benefited greatly from the love and care he quietly and generously bestowed.
A service followed by a reception to celebrate Ron's life, will be held on September 30 - 2: 00 p.m. at Carleton Memorial United Church - 740 Melfa Crescent.
On his behalf, as well as our own, our family thanks the many doctors and nurses who cared for him during his illness (with special thanks to Dr. Louise COULOMBE.)

Suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Thursday June 16, 2005 at the age of 28. Dear loving daughter of Nina and Sam. Dear sister of Vincent. Loving girlfriend of Michael VERGURA. Loving granddaughter of Vincenzo and Vitina COLOMBA of Italy and Giuseppe and Maria CANDELA. Cherished niece of Angela and Antonio MAJORANA, Lucia and Isidoro CAMPANIOLO, Leo and Laurie CANDELA, Stella and Robert RITSMA and Alberto CANDELA. She will be sadly missed by her cousins Nino, Caterina, Rosanna, Silvio, Amanda, Cassandra, Christopher and Joseph. She will be dearly missed by her family and Friends in Canada and Italy. Vitina was employed with Eaton Electrical in Milton. The family will receive Friends at Stoney Creek Funeral Home, 454 Highway 8, east of Millen Road on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be helded Monday at 8: 30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church. Entombment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
