Of Forest, Ontario, formerly of Welland, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at the Sarnia General Hospital in his 54th year. Jim was the beloved father of Jay (Shannon), and Chris, and grandfather to baby E. J. (Ethan), all of Welland. Lovingly remembered by his sister Patsy of Forest, brothers Tim and Tom of Welland. Predeceased by his parents Edward Joseph and Lorraine Emma Mae (CAMPBELL.) Jim was employed as a signal maintainer with Canadian National Railways for 31 years prior to his illness, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Railway Signalmen since 1971. Jim loved boating and was a member of the Port Dalhousie Yacht Club. Cremation is taking place in Sarnia, and Jim's family will receive Friends at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 4, 383 Morningstar Avenue in Welland on Thursday, February 10th, 2005 at a memorial service to celebrate Jim's life (7 p.m. to 9 p.m). As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

She continued her profession for a number of years in Stratford before moving to live with her family in Mitchell for 25 years. She then moved to Goderich where she nursed at the Alexandra Marine Hospital and later retired to Wingham for about 37 years. While in Wingham, Grace was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where she was a faithful longtime worker with the Women's Missionary Society. She has resided at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell for the last five years. There will be no funeral home visitation. A celebration of Grace's life will take place with a public memorial service at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal Street, Mitchell at a later date. She left this earth as she lived on it - "With Grace and Dignity". Born on June 23, 1907 in Teeswater, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Ross T. WRIGHT (1956.) Cherished and much loved mother of Jim of Mitchell, Ross (Ruth Ann) of Goderich, Gwen (Gord) of Woodstock and Beverley of Goderich. Beloved grandmother of Jeff WRIGHT of Winnipeg, Scott WRIGHT of Calgary, Greg (Lynne) BROWN of Thunder Bay, Michael BROWN of Woodstock, Holly GUSHE of North Bay and Timothy (Heather) BROWN of Woodstock.
