Beloved grandfather of Calvin of Whitby, Dwayne and Bubbly of Oakville, Anne WEST and Jeff BURCHILL of Sarnia, Colleen WEST of Maple and great grandfather of Alexandria, Ratten, Claire and Colin. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Martha (SANDERS) WEST, a son Arthur (2000) brother Kiah and sister Jane (Jenny) CROSS.
Stewart farmed at Ridgetown, was active in Erie St. United Church and Ridgetown FairBoard. He moved with his family February 1954 in R.R.#3 Dutton where he farmed until retiring to Bobier Villa. He was active in Wallacetown United Church and acted as treasurer for Mission and Service for 30 years and secretary for the pastoral charge for 25 years. He joined the Wallacetown FairBoard in 1957 and was President in 1963, and continued to contribute for 42 years. He served as chairman and custodian for Wallacetown Hall. He was agent for the Dekalb Seed Corn Company. He had a great interest in his hobbies of model railroading and Monday night card parties. With quiet strength and courage, surrounded by the love of her husband and three daughters, Marjorie Irene BROWN passed away, at home, on Thursday, November 3, 2005. Left to mourn the loss of this kind and gentle woman, matriarch of a family that will always cherish her memory are Keith, her husband of sixty years, Jewell and Daryl BENNETT and their children, Robb and Patt, David and Crista and Julie; Janice BURDEN (Lawrence) and their children David and Adina; Rosemary and Dave RAMEY and their children, Peter, Elizabeth and Lauren. She will be forever remembered with love, by her great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacy and Daryl BENNETT. Marjorie was born on December 10, 1926 in Seymour Township, the daughter of the late Clayton and Grace WALLACE. She is survived and will be forever missed by her brother Tom WALLACE and his wife Reta, sister Jean and her husband Jim POLLOCK, sister Pat and her husband Frank KAPUSCINSKI and sister-in-law Mae WALLACE. She joins in Heaven, her beloved older sister Thelma, brother-in-law Ev PARR, brother Burton WALLACE and their parents. Marjorie and Keith were married March 30, 1946. She is lovingly remembered by Keith's sisters, Marjorie (Gordon), Gay, Audrey (Harold) Chambers and their very special Aunt Mary (Bruce) BAKER. She was a devoted daughter-in-law of Roy and Debbie BROWN, deceased. Her many nieces and nephews, and their families will always remember her warm hospitality extended over the years at family gatherings. Marjorie was a committed member of Mark St. United Church, Life member and former President of United Church Women For many years, she sang in the choir, and recently enjoyed providing music entertainment at church functions. She loved playing her piano and fostered musical interests in her children and grandchildren. Throughout her brief illness, Marjorie's modest nature was deeply moved by the many expressions of caring that arrived daily from members of her extended family, her church and her community. The BROWN family will always remember their thoughtfulness. The compassionate care and family support provided by Dr. John BEAMISH allowed Marjorie to remain at home, the centre of her life with Keith. Marjorie was a loyal and supportive wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother whose commitment to her family and community demonstrated values that will live on in the lives of those she loved. To the very end, she was beautiful and dignified, always inspiring her family, always concerned about those caring for her, never realizing what privilege it was. "Amazing Grace" Peacefully with her family at her side at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, on Friday October 28 2005. Grace Marion (ROWE) SPEARMAN of Sarnia in her 82nd year. Daughter of the late Fred and Violet ROWE, wife of the late Alton (1987,) precious and loved mother of Susan and Dan WARD, Stephen SPEARMAN, Michael and Janine SPEARMAN, Scott and Jackie SPEARMAN, Shelley KELLAR and Morgan DAVISON, David and Angie SPEARMAN, Sandy and Len HIGGINS. Proud grandmother of Jean and Andrew BARBER, Kevin and Shawn SPEARMAN, Daniel KELLER, Jeffrey and Eric SPEARMAN. Special sister and aunt to Joyce BURDETT and her family. Devoted friend of Bernie KELLER, Kathy and Richard BRENNAN, Freda COOK, Patty WILLIAMS, Sue DAVID, Ann LITTLE, Judy FISHER and Sheila McLEOD. Grace was an Air Force Veteran who served in England during World War 2. Grace will always be remembered for her kindness and thoughtfulness to others. Our treasured and loving memories will last forever. Cremation has taken place. At Grace's request there will be a private family graveside interment of ashes at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. Robb Funeral Home, Sarnia. At North Lambton Rest Home, Forest, on Monday, October 31, 2005, Neil MINER, 86 years, formerly of Enniskillen Twp. Beloved husband of Vera (WILLIAMSON) MINER. Dear step father to Ronald and Phyllis WILLIAMSON and Allan and Chris WILLIAMSON all of Forest and Diane and Henri HUNEAULT and Marian WILLIAMSON and Bob BURDETT all of Burlington. Beloved uncle to Ethel MINER- CLARE and Sanford CLARE, Pat and David MILLIKEN, Charles and Nancy MINER, John and Laurel MINER, Darlene WALKER, Janice and Jim BAKER and Paul MINER.
