KAPUZA,
Jan "
John"
Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital in London on Saturday, April
30th, 2005, Jan "John"
KAPUZA, born October 25th, 1917, in his
88th year. John was a husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend
and Holocaust survivor. His gentle nature will be truly missed
by his beloved wife
Janina, loving daughters Liz
ZOK
(Frank)
of Santa Barbara, California and Irene
KAPUZA of London, his
grandchildren Adam and Nicole
ZOK, nephews Zbyszek and Paul
BAGADZINSKI,
sister-in-law Su
BULAS and his Godson Paul
BULAS.
Fondly remembered
by the Bagadzinski and Rogulski families in Poland.
John's Friendships meant a lot to him. The families Blaszkow,
Markowski, Rybczynski, Zok and Rzepecki have been very special
Friends. John showered his family with unconditional love and
taught by example the virtue of patience. He overcame numerous
personal tragedies in his life and once again, in his last few
months, demonstrated tremendous strength, courage, spirit and
humour as he struggled with his physical challenges. He taught
us love of the outdoors. Every time we see a shooting star, sit
around a bonfire, or wonder at the marvels of a garden we will
be reminded of him - as we will each time we pick up a deck of
cards. Please remember John for the wise, kind man that he was
and wish him well on his new journey. Visitors will be received
on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350
William St. (between King and York). Funeral Mass on Tuesday at
12 noon in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street. Interment
St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday 8: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully appreciated.
