Cherished husband of Sandra for 43 years, loving father of Nancy and her husband David BRANDAUER and Linda and her fiancé Derek SHALTON, and adored Grammie's Poppa to Benjamin Gordon, Caleb and Ethan. Predeceased by his parents Colin and Irene and his brother Gerald. After 43 years with Green Cross Products, Gordon happily enjoyed 10 years of retirement. He will be greatly missed by family members and the many people whose lives he touched, including his Friends at the mall. His family is comforted and deeply grateful that Gordon was in the company of many people who loved him at the time of his death. Loving brother to Lloyd GIBBONS and wife Inis, Alice SMITH, Edna ELVIDGE, Muriel BRANDOW and husband Bill, Eva McFADDEN and husband Jack, Evelyn Rose HENDERSON and husband Gerald. Brother-in-law to Frank BABCOCK and Edith GIBBONS. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Benjamin and Lyndon and sisters Helen, Tennice, May, and Eileen and brothers-in-law Lloyd, Gordon and Raymond.
Born in Gladstone on April 2, 1931 son of the late Edward and Alma (LIGHT) GIBBONS. Ken was a retired auto mechanic and owned his own garage in Mississauga. He transported recreational vehicles prior to retiring. Friends may call at the H.A. Artist born in Fifeshire, Scotland, on October 28, 1862.
After settling in Hamilton, Ontario, with his family, he enrolled in the Ontario School of Art in 1879. The following year, he went to Europe to study and returned home to Ontario in 1885 to work with William BRYMNER and Homer WATSON. Two years later, he went back to Europe to tour with his easel. In 1900, he finally settled in London and became associated with such painters as John LAVERY, Frank BRANGWYN and James McNeill WHISTLER.

Their deep and abiding love is an inspiration to their three children -- Wendy WINSLOW of West Vancouver, Dee ELLIOT/ELLIOTT of Bowen Island and Derek WILKINS of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a loving Gangie to Toffer and Amy WINSLOW, Niki WINSLOW, Jennifer and Jeff WILKINS and Frazer and Bryn ELLIOT/ELLIOTT. She delighted in the recent arrivals of three great grandchildren - Hadley and Nathan WINSLOW and Madison BRANN. She will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law, Gerie WILKINS, and son-in-law, Robert PATERSON.
