After a brief struggle with cancer, on Monday, October 10, 2005 at Belleville General Hospital in her 91st year. Gina, beloved wife of the late Carlo. Loving mother of the late Adele (Dale) and her husband Bill McGEE, and Carl Jr. and his wife Carol. Devoted Nonie of Darren (Martha) and David McGEE, Andrea (Sean BYRNE), Carla, Sarah (Sean BOWSER) and Steven. Great-grandmother of Joshua and Jacob McGEE. Dear sister of the late Mary, Olga, Pina, the late Aldo, Mario, the late Alda, the late Annie and Bruna. Will be sadly missed by relatives and Friends. Anthony Lawrence CONSTABLE, suddenly at Kensington Village Nursing Home, London, on Thursday, February 24, 2005, in his 81st year. Dearly beloved husband of Jean M. CONSTABLE. Dear father of Susan CONSTABLE and her husband Al BERTI of Calgary, Alberta, Jane DUPERÉ and her husband Robert CUDDY of Waterloo, and Michael and his wife Shelley CONSTABLE of Barrie. Loving granddad of Rachelle, Christopher, Jeffery, Adam, Sean, Ryan and Lyndsey. Member of Saint John Brebeuf Catholic Women's League and former member of the Ladies Optimist Club of Delhi. Former Bernice Jessie MUSSELL. Beloved wife of the Late Gordon L. BERTLING (1989.) Loving mother of Diane BERTLING, Delhi; David BERTLING (Linda,) Tillsonburg and Phillip BERTLING (Helen,) Delhi. SHEPPARD, Charles " Shep"
On Monday, October 3rd, 2005 Charles (Shep) passed away suddenly, at the age of 43 as a result of a tragic parachute accident, while training in C.F.B. Trenton. Charlie was born in (Galt) Cambridge, Ontario July 11, 1962. He joined the Canadian Forces as an infantry man in 1983. He was posted to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Calgary, Alberta. Survived by his daughters, Holly and April SHEPPARD of Edmonton, Alberta. His mother Carol Ann LAURENCE of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Two sisters, Cynthia DICKENS (Randy) of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Cheryl SHEPPARD (Jamie) of Elliott Lake, Ontario. Predeceased by very loving grandparents Charles Albert LAURENCE (Rosy,) Ella LAURENCE (Heggie.) Predeceased by Aunt Joan MERKEL, survived by Doug MERKEL of St. Jacobs, Ontario, Uncle Donald LAURENCE (Jean) of (Hespeler) Cambridge, Ontario. Survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was born and raised in Dresden prior to moving to Chatham where he married and was employed with Western Freight. Beloved husband of Helen (BOWYER) WICKENS. Dear father of William Brian and wife Shirley of Sarnia, Garth Lindsay and companion Kim PITRE of Saint Thomas and Mavis WICKENS and companion James HURST of Sarnia. Brother of Jack and Ann WICKENS of Sarnia. Loving grandfather to Jeff WICKENS and Miranda WICKENS and great-grandfather of Cayden WICKENS. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. MORGAN, Reverend Dr. Ivan Clifford
Minister, theological educator, churchman and friend died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 22, 2005 in his 93rd year. Brought up in London, Ontario, Ivan graduated in arts and theology from McMaster, a university he was associated with for the rest of his life. After pastorates in Hamilton, Peterborough and Windsor, Ontario, where he was noted as a good shepherd, an outstanding preacher, a spiritual leader, and encourager of interchurch cooperation and community service, Ivan returned to McMaster Divinity College to teach. He was Principal of the college 1966-1978. He and his beloved wife Ruth created a home away from home for a generation of seminary students. Upon retirement, Ivan returned to the pastorate through many interim ministries in Baptist and United Churches of south-western Ontario In 1953-4 he was President of the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec. Ivan was predeceased by Ruth (RAITHBY) MORGAN, his life partner for 62 years in 2001, by his parents Henry and Sarah (BENEDICT) MORGAN, his brothers Frank and Don MORGAN, and brother-in- law Bill RAITHBY. He will be greatly missed as a father by Franklin and Esther (SENTESY) of Perth, Ontario, Mary and David McKNIGHT of Bobcaygeon, Ontario; as grandfather by Peter and Mary (DONALDSON) MORGAN; Sarah (MORGAN) and Brian DONALDSON; and Karen MORGAN- BOWYER and Robert BOWYER; as great-grandfather by Philip, Kyle, Cordelia and Adam. He is also fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Ki MORGAN and Jewell RAITHBY. Stories of My Life: Ivan Clifford MORGAN, written together with his daughter Mary, was recently published by Trafford Publishing, Victoria, British Columbia. Family will receive Friends at the Cattel, Eaton and Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, Thursday, February 24th from 2-4 and 7-9.
