Died peacefully, at the Carpenter's Hospice in Burlington, on January 20, 2005, in his 84th year. He is survived by his six children, Keith (Valerie) of Toronto, Brent (Elaine), Sharon COONS (Dave,) and Ronald, all of Burlington, Garth (Joanne) of Dundalk, and Lorraine of Toronto. Companion to Kathy LEMAY of Burlington. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Laura, Kevin, Kane, Vanessa, Christopher and Michael, along with his extended family. Former husband of Jean HOLDING. Predeceased by his brother Harold and sister Marjorie LUXON. A Veteran of World War 2, and retiree of Union Drawn Steel. Sincere thanks are offered to the dedicated caregivers at Joseph Brant Hospital and the Carpenter's Hospice where Fred received exemplary care. In particular, Dr. SALTER and Dr. BERLINGIERI for their kindness and compassion. At Fred's request, cremation has taken place. Predeceased by her daughter Carol Ann GOENS in 2000, and survived by son-in-law Richard of Kingsville. Cherished grandmother of Scott and his wife Marnie GOENS, Kelly GIBSON (QUINLAN) and her husband Jim, and Cameron GOENS. Dear great grandmother of Landen GIBSON. Agnes died suddenly on Monday, December 5, 2005. After a long struggle with severe depression, she is now at peace. Agnes will be missed by her best friend Sue BERLOVE, her mother Catherine (TEEKENS,) her sister Anita and brother-in-law Bernard TEENINGA, and her nieces and nephews: William (Sue,) Catherine (Derek MAY,) Mark (Jen), Anne and Heather (Philip). With love and joy we will remember Agnes' passion for gardening, her active participation in the First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto, her bold expressive style, and her creativity. She was a tireless advocate for those with mental illness, working to remove the stigma and improve workplace accommodation. Memorial service to be held on Monday, December 12 at 1 p.m. at the First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto, 175 St. Clair Ave. West, Toronto. Age 91, Of Marlborough, Massachusetts, U.S.A., formerly of Framingham, died Thursday December 15, 2005, at Beaumont of Northborough after an illness. She was the wife of the late Edmond B. KENNEDY who died in 1967, former steeplechase champion jockey in Canada and the United States. She leaves her children: Michael B. KENNEDY and his wife Linda of Okeechobee, Florida., Dennis P. KENNEDY and his wife Carolyn of Marlborough, Marie E. GELINA and her companion Thomas KURBS of Marlborough and Cami M. PHILBRICK and her husband Richard of Marlborough; A brother Salvatore BERNARD and three sisters Eleanor CIRA, Yolanda CIRA and Rosemarie RICH all of Toronto, Canada. Also leaves 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was born in Toronto, Canada, daughter of the late Michael A. and Madaline (MONFREDO) BERNARD and was a graduate of the Brunswick High School in Toronto and also attended Loretta Abbey College. For many years she was a bookkeeper at Wallace's Oil Co. in Framingham and also at Glick's Toyota of Framingham. After retirement she worked at the family business - Kennedy's Pub and Restaurant in Marlboro and was affectionately known as "Nanna". She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed knitting and tending her rose garden. Most of all she loved her family. Funeral will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Monday December 19, 2005, from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 97 Main Saint Marlborough, Massachusetts with a Mass of the Resurrection at 11: 30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect Street, Marlborough, Massachusetts.
