(Royal Canadian Air Force, Chartered Life Underwriter) It is with great sadness that Dill's family announces his passing on Monday, October 17, 2005, in his 86th year, following a valiant battle with cancer. Beloved husband, partner and soul-mate of Jacqueline (BENALLICK) for nearly 60 years. Cherished Dad to Bob and Kate (FISHER,) Steve and Cathy (LEWIS,) Kathleen and Jeff (COMBEE.) Very proud Grandpa of Kelly, Chris, Greg, Lisa, Jenna, Jeff, Jacob and Adam. Dill began his career as a teacher in west Toronto with Jackie, then carried his teaching skills to the insurance field doing sales training. He became branch manager and then a financial advisor. His honest and intelligent approach led to many lifelong Friendships. Dill was a competitive lawn bowler, a valued member of Kingsway Lambton United Church and an enthusiastic bass voice in its choir since 1967. We will miss Dill's guidance and his caring spirit. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Reception immediately following. Louis Paul, on Thursday July 14, 2005 passed away at Woodstock General Hospital after a brief illness. Seventy Eight years ago, in Somagyvar, Hungary he was born to Sandor and Maria JANCSAR, their seventh chi ld. After coming to Canada he raised his family. Three children reside in Woodstock: Paul and Pat JANCSAR, Mark and Barb JANCSAR and Esther and Martin LIEVRE; Susanne and Terry BENBOW live in Hickson; Dean and Joan JANCSAR at Bright, while Nicholas and Lisa JANCSAR are in Niagara Falls. All his family including the 17 grandchildren surrounded him with loving farewells. They are: Darrel, Emily, Bethany, Randall, Ben, Peter, Zachary, Brianne, Kathleen, Daniel, Cole, Andrew, Cara, Michaela, Rachel, Caleb and Martina. Visitation will be held at the R.D. WINKELAAR, Florence Gloria (née HANSON) (1938-2005)
"I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creatures, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."
Florence passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice in Calgary on April 20, 2005 at the age of sixty-seven. She was born in Three Hills, Alberta and moved to Drumheller at an early age. After completing her education in Drumheller, she married Ron and moved to Calgary where they raised a family of seven children. Florence was a kind and considerate person and never missed an opportunity to help or say a kind word to someone. She was always available for charity work and supportive of many worthy causes. Her courage and sense of humor, even during her failing health, was truly an inspiration to all who knew and lover her. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Ronnie and Arnold and sister Shirley BOUGHTON and is survived by sisters Joyce (Jim) KIRKEBY, Geraldine (Dennis) CLAUSEN and brother Gerald (Judy) HANSON. Florence will be sadly missed by her husband Ron, children, Michele RADICS (Chris BENCUN), Andrew, Gerry (Joelle), Peter, Joanne (Steve CRANWELL,) Matthew and Keith. Also left to mourn, her are brothers-in-law Jack (Iris) WINKELAAR and Robert BOUGHTON and many other relatives. Florence dearly loved and cherished her grandchildren Kendra, Lukas and Mikayla BENCUN, Jordan and Logan WINKELAAR and Liam CRANWELL. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Rosedale Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care of Florence during her illness. Peacefully, at home on November 18, 2005, surrounded by his children. He is now reunited with his wife Mary Lie Kwie Hwa, his parents and predeceased family in heaven. He was a wise, loving and devoted father to Su Yung (Daniel) and Paul Ming I (Andrea SWAN.) He will be remembered with fondness by his grandchildren Kenneth and Michael. The loss of his father at the age of 17 sent him on a spiritual search that lasted 46 years. At the age of 63 he found the Catholic Church. Since that time he has been unwavering in his faithfulness; a daily mass was his pillar of strength and humility. Russell grew up on the farm at Arkona, and then worked for many years at Wendell Holmes' Bookshop in London. He and Jean were members of Dundas Centre United Church, London and made their home near Komoka. They traveled extensively and enjoyed gardening. Their family and their many Friends were a special part of their lives. 85, of Tavistock passed away in Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, December 22, 2005 with his family by his side. He was born in East Zorra Township on October 9, 1920 a son of the late Joseph and Lydia (LICHTI) ROTH. With his wife he was co-founder of Roth Electric Limited at R.R.#1, Tavistock and was a member of Tavistock Mennonite Church. He married the former Erma BAECHLER in East Zorra Township on January 30, 1944. She predeceased him on September 6, 2000. Mahlon is survived by two daughters, Irene GOLLNITZ of Tavistock, Beulah PATTERSON of Stratford; four sons, Sherman and wife Jenny ROTH of Zurich; Cephas and wife Paulette ROTH, Murray and wife Barbara ROTH and Eugene ROTH, all of Tavistock sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Ina and husband Lavern BENDER, Elma and husband Elmer JANTZI/YANTZI and Doris JANTZI/YANTZI; four brothers, Mervin and wife Dorothy ROTH, M. His upbeat, positive attitude was genuine as was the courage with which he faced the last big obstacle of his life. Beloved wife of the late Thomas James HICKEY (1984.) Loving mother of Barbara HICKEY, Teresa IACONIS, Loretto BENDER, Ailsa HICKEY Jr. (Power) and Margaret HICKEY (SAUNDERS). Survived by her sisters Marianne, Sr. Barbara and Ethel and predeceased by siblings Bill and Katie. Grandmother of Jen, Chris, Dale, Lora, Robbie, Jessica, Tommy, Louise, Michael, Teresa, Anna-Marie and Morgan, great-grandmother of Alanna and Krista. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, her Goddaughter Ailsa and her many Friends. Mother was an energetic, vibrant woman, who raised a family of five, and also volunteered for the Cancer Society and Red Cross. She was an original member of "Stitch 'n Gab", an active member of the Theresians, Horticultural and Historical Societies and enjoyed a full life of gardening, traveling, camping and playing bridge.
