"I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing
therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any
fellow creatures, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect
it, for I shall not pass this way again."
Florence passed away peacefully at the Rosedale Hospice in Calgary
on April 20, 2005 at the age of sixty-seven. She was born in
Three Hills, Alberta and moved to Drumheller at an early age.
After completing her education in Drumheller, she married Ron
and moved to Calgary where they raised a family of seven children.
Florence was a kind and considerate person and never missed an
opportunity to help or say a kind word to someone. She was always
available for charity work and supportive of many worthy causes.
Her courage and sense of humor, even during her failing health,
was truly an inspiration to all who knew and lover her. She was
predeceased by her parents, brothers Ronnie and Arnold and sister
Shirley BOUGHTON and is survived by sisters Joyce (Jim)
KIRKEBY,

Peacefully at home in Stratford, surrounded by the love of his
family, after a courageous battle against cancer. Author of 'Secrets
of Power Presentations' and other Business books, Peter was one
of Canada's leading Professional Speakers. His charismatic personality
delighted and inspired others: Peter had a gift for making people
laugh and helping them believe in themselves. His upbeat, positive
attitude was genuine as was the courage with which he faced the
last big obstacle of his life. Peter will be sadly missed by
many: especially his wife and best friend of 35 years, Frances:
Step-sons Phil (Tammy), Greg (Susan) and grandchildren Sarah,
Megan, Kyle and Ryan. Brother Kurt (Edith) and nephews Patrick
and Eric. In Switzerland Peter is survived by his loving mother
Margaretha (86) and other family members. Sincere thanks to the
health care providers, neighbours and Friends in Stratford, Toronto
and abroad, whose many kindnesses helped Peter and Frances along
this difficult journey. A celebration of Peter's life will be
