Peacefully, at his home, on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, in his 91st year. Harry, loving husband of Audrey for 52 years. Beloved father of daughter Jennifer and her husband Stephen, and son Scott and his wife Cynthia. Proud Papa of Sarah, Amy, Samantha, Teddi-Anne, Matthew, Jeffrey and Calvin, all of whom were his pride and joy. Harry is survived by his sisters Ann ADAM/ADAMS, Margaret BEAUPRÉ, Jean DAVEY and predeceased by Philip GILBERT and Mary TURVEY. Harry retired as a teacher from the Scarborough Board of Education in 1980. Resting at the Paul O'Conner Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Avenue East (between Warden and Pharmacy) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Barbara Christina COCHRANE, (née GRANT,) in her 88th year, passed away peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa in Petrolia, on Friday, April 29, 2005. Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1998, she will be missed by her family, son Robert and his wife Claudia of Komoka, daughters Ann WALKER and her husband Richard of Mount Brydges, and Barbara BEAUREGARD and her husband Ivan of Camlachie, and grandchildren Rebecca and her husband John TURVEY, Melissa, Rob and Will WALKER. She is survived by her sister Isabel GRANT and nephews and nieces, John and Anne May, Ian and Anna GRANT, and Helen HARKNESS, all of Dumfriesshire in Scotland.
After the family emigrated from Scotland in 1957, they owned and operated a farm on the corner of Gypsie Slats Road and Lasalle Line in Enniskillen Township for 40 years before retiring to Wyoming. Her vivacity, keen sense of humour, pragmatic attitude to life, renowned hospitality, and her care packages of shortbread, muffins and goodies touched all who were fortunate to cross her path. A funeral service for Barbara COCHRANE will be held at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at 1: 00 p.m. with visitation from 12 noon. Reverend Dean ADLAM will officiate. Interment to follow in Wyoming Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Petrolia.

Born in Toronto, Mr. GILLMORE moved to Gravenhurst at an early age and then to Orillia as a married couple, coming to Welland in 1990. He was employed as Chief Cook with Upper Lakes Shipping for over 27 years and was currently serving aboard the M.V. Canadian Enterprise. Mr. GILLMORE served in the Canadian Army and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 302, Gravenhurst and as well with the Canadian Maritime Union. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine W. FERON, 47, after a sudden illness at the Q.E. II in Halifax, February 15, 2005. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Timothy F. MURPHY and M. Pauline (BROWN) MURPHY. Catherine was a longtime beloved, valued employee and colleague of St. Joseph's Early Childhood Education Centre; Monastery Lane location. It was Catherine's nature to be nurturing and loving towards all who had the privilege of knowing her. Catherine was a mother to all. Her sharp sense of humour will be sadly missed. She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Paul and her three beautiful children, Michael and partner Jeanete CALLAGHAN, Monica and Emily; sister, Patricia (BEAVER;) lifelong Friends, Kim MOWBRAY and Meshell MOSHER; numerous "extended family" members.
