Tennie packed her bags for her final journey, this time, a spiritual
one. Just one month after her 87th birthday, late on April 29,
2005, calmly at home, embraced by her loving family and Friends,
Tennie passed away after a rapid decline due to cancer. She was
at peace and was able to bid farewell to many who loved her.
A charismatic, brilliant woman, she deeply touched the lives
of all whose path she crossed, nourishing Friendships far and
wide. She was a hero, inspiration and guiding light to her four
children Joanne, Veronica (Steven), Theresa, and Bobby (Maria).
For her eight grandchildren Lisa (Gary), Ed (Stefania), Joanne,
Robert, Ania, Marysia, Michael, Melanie and four great-grandchildren
Edward, Karoline, Veronica and Nicholas, she was a source of
infinite love and cuddling. She was predeceased by her husband

in every sense of the word, she lived life with joy, style and
grace. Outside of raising four wonderful children, she still
made time to pursue her passions, which included studying French,
Chinese brush painting and creating needlepoint icons. We prayed,
sang and danced a lot and travelled distances to all of life's
celebrations. When it was time to grieve, Tennie's compassion
