LANKTREE,
November 25, 1932 to January 17, 2004.
Morris LANKTREE, a resident of Gore Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya,
on Saturday, January 17, 2004, at the age of 71 years.
He was born in Britainville,
son of Jean
(BOWSER)
LANKTREE and the late Donald
LANKTREE.
Morris loved the outdoors, and he fulfilled this love by working on farms most all
his life. He also enjoyed baseball, hunting, and going to the coffee
shop with the guys. His greatest love, however, was spending time with his family.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Morris is survived by his mother Jean of Gore Bay, dear brother and
brother-in-law of Eunice and Ben
WILSON of Spring Bay, Lois and Jim
McCORMICK of Spring Bay, Marie and Mike
LOVE of Mindemoya, Bill and
Sherran LANKTREE of Gore Bay, June and Lorne
HAMM of Havelock and
Jean Anne and Shelley
THIBAULT of Gore Bay. Also survived by many
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Donald, sister Aileen
WILLIAMS and brother Kenneth.
Friends called the Culgin Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18, 2004.
The funeral service was conducted in the William G. Turner Chapel on
Monday,
January 19, 2004 with Mr. Erwin
THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON officiating.
Spring interment in Grimesthorpe Cemetery.
