The family received Friends for visitation at Butcher Family Funeral Home,
5399 Main St. S., Erin, on Saturday evening, 7 - 9 pm, and Sunday from
2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service was held on Monday, October 11th at
1 pm at Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 81 Main Street, Hillsburgh,
with Reverend Wayne

from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will
be held at the Owen Sound Salvation Army Citadel, on Tuesday
afternoon at 1: 00 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. As an
expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society, the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre M.R.I. Fund or
to the Owen Sound Salvation Army.

Thomas BERESFORD
SELLERS
Tom, born August 25th, 1942 in Toronto, passed away peacefully in
hospital in Nanaimo, BC on January 21, 2004.
Tom was predeceased by his parents Alfred
HARDISTRY and Phyllis Anne
(TILSTON.)
Lovingly remembered by his family, wife Sally and sons Darren and Matt. Tom is
also missed by his siblings John (Marilyn), Mary (Ray), and Ruth, and nephews and nieces.
Also missing him are the Bush family and the Blaikie family and many other close Friends.
Tom was raised in Toronto by his loving family and spent many happy summers at the family
cottage at Sandfield. Tom joined the Royal Canadian Air Force as a member of Squadron 439
(pilot) from 1965 to 1969. He moved to Kitimat, BC and started work at Eurocan in May 1971.
Tom was a loving husband and a devoted father, who was dedicated to his church and an avid
member of his community. Many Friends enjoyed Tom's ability to listen to and share in their
concerns and enthusiasm. Tom worked hard and played hard. He and Sally moved to Parksville in
February 2003, where Tom enjoyed retired life as the resident house-mouse.
There was a memorial service at Christ Church Anglican, in Kitimat,
BC on February 7, 2004 at 12: 30 p.m. There was also a memorial service in Parksville, BC
at Saint Anne's-St Edmund's on February 21, 2004 at 1: 30 p.m. followed by interment.
