A 48-year-old bus driver was killed yesterday morning after she
was dragged beneath her empty bus at Pearson International Airport.
Lina ROMAGNO of Toronto parked her inter-terminal bus at the
departure level of Terminal 2 at around 10: 50 a.m., according
to Peel police.
She had started to walk away from the bus when it began to move
forward.
While trying to stop it, Romagno was pulled underneath and dragged
a short distance.
The bus came a stop after colliding with a parked vehicle.
The woman was pulled from beneath the bus by rescue workers and
transported to Trillium Health Centre in Etobicoke, where she
was pronounced dead.
