McARTHUR,
June 15, 1936 - April 20, 2004.
Eileen McARTHUR, a resident of Providence Bay, and formerly of Toronto, died at the
Mindemoya Hospital on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at the age of 67 years.
She was born at Providence Bay, daughter of the late John Douglas and Nellie
(McDOUGALL)
McARTHUR.
Eileen had worked at the Canadian Tire at Yonge and Eglington in Toronto for 35 years,
retiring back to her home about six years ago. She had a variety of
interests which included knitting, painting and in particular enjoyed her garden.

HANNAH. Eleanor enjoyed gardening,
quilting and outings with the Channel View Drop In Centre. Her
greatest joy was her family and she took pride in all of their
accomplishments. She was greatly loved by her family and will be
sadly missed but lives on in the hearts of all. Visitation was held
on Monday, January 12, 2004. Funeral service was held on Tuesday,
January 13, 2004 all at Island Funeral Home. Burial in Mountainview Cemetery.

Dorothy ADDISON
(October 22, 1914 - February 8, 2004,) a resident of
Silver Water, passed away at her residence on Silver Lake on Sunday,
February 8, 2004, at the age of 89 years. She was born at Silver
Water, daughter of the late John and Elma
(EDMONDS)
HOPKINS.
Dorothy lived her entire life on the family farm at Silver Water.
She was involved in the community, at church as a member of Saint
Andrew's United church and attended Saint Peter's Anglican church where
she played the organ until recently. Dorothy was also a life member
of the United Church Women, the Women's Institute and a Community Hall board member.
Music played an important part of her life as she played for the Old
Time Orchestra, church and at various occasions at the nursing home.
Her hobbies included: knitting, crocheting, quilting, gardening.
Aside from her family and community, Dorothy's greatest love was her
music. She will be sadly missed, but many memories will be cherished
by all who knew her.
