ACHESON, Muriel Aleth (formerly WAKE, née HENDERSON)
Passed away in Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne, on Wednesday, December 29th, 2004. Aleth (HENDERSON) ACHESON in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon ACHESON and the late Allan WAKE and dear mother of Douglas (Marion) WAKE, of Rosemont, Muriel (Robert) AVIS, of Flesherton, Ruth LITTLE, of Shelburne, Emily CARRY, of Toronto, Gwen (the late Henry) SOLWAY, of Forest, Robert (the late Marlene) ACHESON, of R.R.#4 Flesherton and Jack (Linda) ACHESON, of Ravenna. Will be sadly missed by twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grand_sons, three sisters, Helen STINSON, of Toronto, Elva KEAST, of Shelburne, Ella (Tracy) MELENSON, of Toronto, three brothers, Bolen HENDERSON, of Orangevillle, Douglas (Dianalynn) HENDERSON, of Calgary, Alberta and Eldon HENDERSON, of Melancthon Township. Predeceased by a sister, Della OLDFIELD. Resting at the McMillan and Jack Funeral Home, Dundalk. Service in the chapel on Friday, December 31st, 2004 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Dundalk Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation on Thursday from 4: 00 to 8:00 p.m.

Elizabeth Joan (TOON) GILMORE
The passing of Elizabeth Joan (TOON) GILMORE of Fredericton, beloved wife of Harry GILMORE, occurred April 1st, 2004 at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home in Minto, NB. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Fredericka (COLWELL) TOON. Mrs. GILMORE was a member of the First Congregational Church in Fredericton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, H. Andrew GILMORE and his wife Kimberley of Noonan, NB, one daughter, Tammy L. ALBERS and her husband John of Little Current, ON, one brother John E. TOON and his wife Diana of Fredericton, NB, three grandchildren, Chelsea M. GILMORE, Mitchell A. GILMORE and Noah J. F. ALBERS.
Visitation took place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Friday, April 2nd, 2004. A funeral service was held at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 3rd, 2004 with the Reverend Dr. Brad LITTLE officiating. Interment will be in the Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton. Pallbearers for the service were Garth GILMORE, Kirk GILMORE, Jennifer GILMORE, Jaclyn HETHERINGTON, Brent TOON and Mark TOON.

Clara Ethel " Rhea" WARD
In loving memory of Clara Ethel "Rhea" WARD, unexpectedly at Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, April 24, 2004, age 82 years. Beloved wife of Rex WARD. Loving mother of Elaine LEPAGE of Hanmer and Ross and Susan of Tehkummah. Cherished grandmother of Lisa LEPAGE, Shawn and wife Leah LEPAGE, Tanya and husband Mark RICCI, all of Hanmer, Justin WARD of Tehkummah. Special great grandmother of Kirsten, Raven, Trey, Hayden, and Tyrus. Will be missed by sisters Marjorie and husband Elgin MARTIN of Tehkummah, Gilda and husband Grant RUSSELL (both predeceased,) Jean SIBERRY (husband Ken predeceased) of Toronto, and sister-in-law Marguerite LITTLE (husband Allan, predeceased) of Little Current. Predeceased by John, Joyce, and Jean Ward. Forever remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Tuesday, April 27, 2004. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Fairview United Church, Tehkummah. Burial in Hilly Grove Cemetery.

Carl Archibald BROWN
In loving memory of Carl Archibald BROWN who passed away on May 12, 2004.
Carl BROWN, a resident of South Baymouth, passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya, on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at the age of 80 years.
He was born at Tehkummah, son of the late Archibald Martin and Hazel Marie (LITTLE) BROWN. He was a member of St. Andrew's By the Sea United Church at South Baymouth and a member of Doric Lodge number 455, Little Current. Carl had been self employed all his life. He enjoyed gardening, reading, walking in nature and biking. Carl was a kind and loving man, known and respected by all. He will be greatly missed and his family and all who knew him will cherish many happy memories. Carl is survived by his loving wife Roberta (SIM) BROWN. Loving and loved father and grandfather of Robert BROWN, Gary BROWN, wife Christie and their children Marty, Alasha and Adam, Janice BROWN and husband Gerry and their children Christopher and Temara, Michael BROWN and wife Shelley and their children Natalie, Darren and Camellia, Heather Nichols and husband James and their children Myles and Katherine, Anne McDONALD and husband Barry and their children Andrew, Emily and Jessica, Bonnie DOWHANIUK and husband James and their children Nadia and Peter, Frances BRUYNS and husband Tony and their children Caleb, Kaitlynn, Liam and Hannah, David BROWN and wife Marnie and children Laura and Aislinn and Mary SIMIONI and husband Oscar. Also survived by loving mother-in-law Cecilia SIM, sister Marie ANSTICE (husband Bert predeceased) and sister- in-law Cora COND and her husband Glen. Predeceased by brother William. Friends may call at the Fairview United Church, Tehkummah after 7 pm on Friday. The funeral service was conducted at the church on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 11 am with Darlene Hardy officiating. Interment in Hilly Grove Cemetery. Doric Masonic Lodge number 455 will conduct the memorial service on Friday at 7 pm.
