Mary Lou CRANSTON
In loving memory of Doctor Mary Lou
CRANSTON who passed away July 28, 2004 in Devon, Alberta.
Born in Toronto, in 1945, beloved daughter of Charles (late) and Clara
CRANSTON of Mindemoya.
Lovingly remembered and survived by sisters Ann Marie (husband Bent
HENRIKSEN) of Denmark,
Marie Celeste of Mindemoya, and brother Bill (wife Ann) of Mindemoya. She will be sadly missed
by special friend Sharon Downs, of Devon. Mary Lou received her doctorate in moral theology in Rome, Italy.
She dedicated her life to teaching in various institutions across Canada, more particularly
ethical and moral issues in recent years until her death. After a brief battle with cancer, Mary Lou passed
away peacefully at home. Cremation has taken place, with burial of ashes in the hills she loved in Devon.
A memorial service was to be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004 in Mindemoya.
