George Leonard HINDLE
In loving memory of George Leonard HINDLE April 2, 1920 - January 25, 2004.
Leonard HINDLE, a resident of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home and formerly of Manitowaning died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the age of 83 years.
He was born at Green Bay, son of the late George and Effie (ROWLAND) HINDLE. Leonard had farmed all his life in the Manitowaning area. He was a member of the Friendship Club and Knox United Church. Leonard was a pleasant and kind man and will be sadly missed by family and Friends. Leonard was predeceased by his wife Evelyn (HAMBLETON) HINDLE. Loving and loved father of Robert and his wife Susan of Tillsonburg, Leonard and his wife Cathy of London, Lorna BARRY and her husband Mike of Elliott Lake, Thelma KJIERSDAM and her husband Ben of Meaford and Muriel MAFFEI and her husband David of Sudbury. Proud grandfather of Ryan and Mark HINDLE, Evie and Joshua HINDLE, Melissa and Stephanie BARRY, Ian, Hannah and Owen KJIERSDAM and Matthew MAFFEI. Dear brother of Thelma (KERR) GILBANK and Elsie (HARAKAS) NAZARETZ.
Friends may call at the Knox United Church, Manitowaning after 7: 00 pm on Thursday. The funeral service will be conducted at the church on Friday, January 30, 2004 at 11: 00 am with Mrs. Darlene HARDY officiating. Spring interment in Hilly Grove Cemetery.
Special thank you to the staff and administration of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home for the care that Leonard received over the past several years.

William Morris LANKTREE
In loving memory of William Morris LANKTREE, November 25, 1932 to January 17, 2004.
Morris LANKTREE, a resident of Gore Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya, on Saturday, January 17, 2004, at the age of 71 years.
He was born in Britainville, son of Jean (BOWSER) LANKTREE and the late Donald LANKTREE. Morris loved the outdoors, and he fulfilled this love by working on farms most all his life. He also enjoyed baseball, hunting, and going to the coffee shop with the guys. His greatest love, however, was spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Morris is survived by his mother Jean of Gore Bay, dear brother and brother-in-law of Eunice and Ben WILSON of Spring Bay, Lois and Jim McCORMICK of Spring Bay, Marie and Mike LOVE of Mindemoya, Bill and Sherran LANKTREE of Gore Bay, June and Lorne HAMM of Havelock and Jean Anne and Shelley THIBAULT of Gore Bay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Donald, sister Aileen WILLIAMS and brother Kenneth.
Friends called the Culgin Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18, 2004. The funeral service was conducted in the William G. Turner Chapel on Monday, January 19, 2004 with Mr. Erwin THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON officiating. Spring interment in Grimesthorpe Cemetery.

In Southampton, on Wednesday, December 29th, 2004, at the age of 69 years. John BRYCE, of Paisley, husband of the former Donna CALHOUN. Father of Nancy and her husband, Jim KLINE and Mary Lynn and her husband, Bruce MacLEAN, all of Port Elgin; Wayne and his wife, Lori, of Paisley; Patsy and her husband, Lloyd HAMMELL, of Arkwright and Connie and her husband, Jerry OSADCA, of Kincardine. Grandpa to Kristyn and Katie KLINE, Stuart and Mary Kathleen MacLEAN, Madison and Emily BRYCE, Steven and Paul HAMMELL and Matthew and Michael OSADCA. Brother of Margaret and her husband, Ed DAHMS, of Kitchener, Tom and his wife, Barbara, of Paisley, Marjorie CAMPBELL, of Port Elgin and Mary and her husband, Gord McGARVEY, of Kincardine. Predeceased by one brother, Archie BRYCE and by sisters, Anna WELDON and Jean LAFFOLEY. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel, 216 Queen Street South, Paisley, from 2: 00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 2nd, 2005. Funeral service will be conducted in Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce Street, Port Elgin, on Monday at 1: 00 p.m., with the Reverend Murray ROUNDING officiating. Interment, Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin. Memorial contributions to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to Knox United Church, Paisley would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
