Christopher Allan NOLAND
In loving memory of Christopher Allan NOLAND October 18, 1953 - February 28, 2004.
Allan Noland, a resident of Gore Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the age of 50 years.
He was born at Little Current, son of Lorna Jane NOLAND and the late Nelson Keith NOLAND.
Allan had worked at Manitoulin Livestock Co-Op as a petro driver for 23 years. He was a member of the Spring Bay Pentecostal Church. Allan had many interests, which included hunting, and fishing photography, was a member of the Manitoulin Handgun club, enjoyed gardening, woodworking and watching the birds. He was a loved and loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. His presence will be sadly missed, but many happy memories will be cherished by all who knew him.
Dearly loved husband of Nancy (CARTER) NOLAND, loving son of Lorna NOLAND of Gore Bay, prod father of Christopher of Gore Bay and Kara of Gore Bay and Waterloo. Dear brother of Leslie and his wife Valerie of Indian River. Loved uncle of Keith, Mark and Evan. Also will be missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay, March 2nd. The
funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on March 3,
2004 with Pastor Derek FRAMPTON and Mr. Erwin THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON officiating. Spring interment will be held in the Burpee-Mills Cemetery.

Maurice Wellington HAYDEN
In loving memory of Maurice Wellington HAYDEN, October 30, 1925 - March 27, 2004.
Maurice (Reecie) HAYDEN, a resident of Gore Bay, died on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at his property at Elizabeth Bay, a place he loved to be, doing what he liked to do.
He was 78 years of age. Reecie was born at Elizabeth Bay, son of the late Fred and Pearl (NOAKES) HAYDEN. He had worked at a variety of jobs in his life, including farming, logging, worked for Ontario Paper Co., and construction with McDOUGALL Construction. Reecie never really retired, although in later years he did spend less time working, and spent more time with his favorite pastime, being with his family, socializing with Friends and going to the Drop-in Centre. Reecie had been on the Burpee Council and the School Board for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, working with small engines and especially going to hockey games. His caring and friendly personality and his presence will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Dearly loved and loving husband of Julia (HILL) HAYDEN. Loving father of Judy and husband Conrad FREEMAN of Merrickville; Nancy and husband Dale HARPER of Evansville; Carol and husband Harvey MORDEN of Trenton; Arthur and his wife Cora of Naughton; Bert and his wife Debbie of Copper Cliff and Sharon and husband Dave BOATES of Trenton. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Dear brother of Bill and his wife Eva HAYDEN of Gore Bay and brother-in-law of Leila HAYDEN of Evansville. Predeceased by brothers Fred and Orace HAYDEN and sister-in-law Lenna. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends came to the Culgin Funeral Home Tuesday, March 30th and the funeral service will be held in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 11 am with Reverend Derek FRAMPTON and Rev. Frank HANER officiating. Cremation to follow.

KERLEY, Andrew
Peacefully at his home on Friday, December 24th, 2004. Andrew KERLEY of Owen Sound in his 41st year. Dearly loved son of Berniece NIGHTINGALE of Owen Sound and the late Bev NIGHTINGALE and the late Stephen KERLEY. Brother of Mark KERLEY and his wife Monica of Victoria, British Columbia, Shayne KERLEY and his wife Colleen of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Anndrea and her husband Don FRASER of Ottawa, Alan NIGHTINGALE and his wife Debbie and Butch NIGHTINGALE all of Owen Sound. A private family service has been held. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Casey House, which may be placed through the Tannahill Funeral Home, 376-3710.
