McBRIDE, Arthur Neil
Peacefully at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head, on Wednesday, December 29th, 2004. Art McBRIDE, of Wiarton, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene (DUGGAN) McBRIDE. Dear father of Phillip and his wife, Joyce REID, of Wiarton. Special grandfather of Phyllis (Mike) KELLY, of Shallow Lake, Allan (Tracy) REID, of Wiarton and great-grandfather of Miranda, Natalie, Andrew, and Jessica. Predeceased by one sister, Annie MATTHEWS and three brothers, George, Danniel and Duncan. The family will receive Friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton, on Thursday, from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel, on Friday, December 31st, 2004 at 11: 00 a.m. with Father Steve LACROIX officiating. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at

Hilda Vivian BAILEY
In Loving Memory of Hilda Vivian BAILEY (née DUXBURY) who died at
the Manitoulin Health Centre on Wednesday March 17, 2004 at the age of 86 years.
Predeceased by her husband Robert Owen BAILEY (Bob) March 5, 1977.
Loving mother of Vivian and husband George PENNIE of Manitowaning, Sherman and wife Catherine of Little Current, Doug and Mary Ellen of Little Current, Martin BOYNE and wife Betty of Kagawong. Will be missed by grandchildren Peter and wife Sue PENNIE, Sandra PENNIE and friend Pat, Kimberly and husband Leo GROEN of Blind River, Martin BAILEY, Bradley and wife Cynda BAILEY. Predeceased by Blaire, Vivian Diane and Connie Lynn. Cherished great-grandmother of Jimmy, Drew, Ashley, Jordan, and Trenton. Dear sister of Erwin
and wife Orpha DUXBURY, Helen and husband Carl DUGGAN, Muriel PYETTE (Louis predeceased), Goldie DUXBURY (Daisy predeceased.) Predeceased by Freda LINSTEAD and Madeline DUXBURY.
A visitation was held Friday, March 19 and a funeral service Saturday, March 20, both at Island Funeral Home. Burial in Kagawong Cemetery.

Elva Irene CRESS
In loving memory of Elva Irene CRESS, a resident of Milton, who died at the Halton Health Care Services Hospital in Milton on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at the age of 87 years. She was born in Assiginack Township, daughter of the late David and Elizabeth (MARTIN) SIM. She was a member of the Providence Bay United Church. Elva had many interests including knitting and crocheting, playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and shopping. Elva will be missed, but many memories will be cherished by all who knew her. Elva is predeceased by her husband Paul CRESS. Loving mother of Joan CAMPBELL (husband Keith,) David CRESS, Norman CRESS and Lola CHURCHILL (friend Gerry DUGUAY) all of Milton. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Michael, Kim, Darrell, Michelle, Amanda, Kelly and Jennifer and 8 great grandchildren. Sadly missed by caregiver Shella EZEARD. Predeceased by sisters and brothers Bruce, Percy, Earl, Norman, David, Eef, Sid, Clarence, Lola THOMAS, Viola SPENCE, Lizzy and Lillian. Visitation was held at the Providence Bay United Church on Sunday, August 22. The funeral service was conducted at the Providence Bay United Church on Monday, August 23, 2004 with Mr. Erwin Thompson officiating. Interment followed at the Providence Bay Cemetery.
