It’s been five years since we said goodbye,
as we stood and watched you drive by.
It was a beautiful warm bright summer day
when the angels came and took you away.
Not a day goes by that we keep wondering why,
in the prime of your life you took that final ride.
Memories of you bring tears to or eyes.
We miss you greatly. Love from your mom, sister, brothers, and your two sons.

--In memory of my Daddy, our Grandpa, Alphonse I.
CORBIERE,
surrounded in love joined the creator on December 15, 2003.
Already it’s been a year.
We miss your smile, your hee hee hee, our talks, our rides.
We miss your wisdom and guidance, but we know you are still here beside
us, helping us, guiding us when we need it most.
We know you only wanted the best for us, and understand now that you
were right, we are worth it.
It hurt to let you go but we knew we had to.
We know you are happy gambling away in the creator’s casino, and at
peace walking along those bluffs above.
Be happy, we miss you, but we love you even more.
With pride to say that’s my Daddy, that was our Grandpa. Loved and
always missed by Ndaansenhs Sanda, Grandsons, John, Anthony, Matthew and
Chad, and Granddaughter Kyra Bayer.

CORBIERE
--In memory of a special father and grandfather Alphonse I.
CORBIERE, who joined the spirit world on December 15, 2003.
If we could go back to a year ago today,
There would be so many things Dad that we would say.
Like how much we love you and miss your laughter in the air,
And every time we look at the counter we no longer see you leaning there.
We would tell you how you were our strength we could no longer walk,
And let you know how much we really loved all our little talks.
We would tell you that we really didn’t mind that drink or two,
Just as long as you were happy and we could still have you.
But the Creator decided it was time to take you home to be in his care,
And sometimes Dad the pain of missing you is more than we can bare.
Mom keeps the home fires burning and we often gather there,
We laugh and we cry as we share memories of you when we see your empty chair.
The little ones miss grandpa and don’t really understand,
That when the creator reached for you, you willingly took his hand.
And although we know you are no longer in any pain,
Life here on earth without you will never be the same.
Dad, even if we can no longer see you, we feel you every day,
For we know that in our hearts you will forever stay.
Dad, if only we could go back a year ago today...
We miss you Dad, Love, Menesa, Wally, Shanna, Curtis, Jeff and Denice
