Nellie “Bernice” CHARLTON
In loving memory of Nellie “Bernice” CHARLTON who passed away at Manitoulin Centennial Manor on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at age 91.
Born to Albert and Alvina MILLS on September 1, 1912. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Wesley CHARLTON (Jan. 10/76.) Loved by her children. Predeceased by baby daughter Shirley, Carol HEIS (predeceaased,) Helen and husband Dale of Belleville, Judy and Norm MARSDEN of Stittsville and Ryan of Little Current. Remembered by son-in-law Doug and wife Betty HEIS of Sandfield and daughter-in-law Christine CHARLTON of Sudbury. Will be missed by grandchildren Kim COOPER, Wendy LEADER, Lisa BASTISTAS- CARRIERE, Bruce BURLEY, Todd BURLEY (predeceased,) Suzan MARSDEN, Michael MARSDEN, Stuart CHARLTON. Special great grandmother of Austin and Hannah COOPER, Thomas and Eric LEADER, Lukas and Emma BASTISTAS-CARRIERE, Browlyn MARSDEN. Predeceased by siblings Aleatha and husband Darwin WISMER, Stella and husband William SMYTHE, Edna and husband Richard LEE, William (Bill) and wife Kaye MILLS, Stanley and wife Nellie MILLS, Frank and wife Sheila MILLS. Survived by sister Lucienna YATES. Visitation was held from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday, July 16 at Island Funeral Home. Funeral service was held on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at 2 pm at Island Funeral Home. Officiating elders Humphrey BEAUDIN and Weston LEESON. Burial in Mountainview Cemetery.

Passed away in Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne, on Wednesday, December 29th, 2004. Aleth (HENDERSON) ACHESON in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon ACHESON and the late Allan WAKE and dear mother of Douglas (Marion) WAKE, of Rosemont, Muriel (Robert) AVIS, of Flesherton, Ruth LITTLE, of Shelburne, Emily CARRY, of Toronto, Gwen (the late Henry) SOLWAY, of Forest, Robert (the late Marlene) ACHESON, of R.R.#4 Flesherton and Jack (Linda) ACHESON, of Ravenna. Will be sadly missed by twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grand_sons, three sisters, Helen STINSON, of Toronto, Elva KEAST, of Shelburne, Ella (Tracy) MELENSON, of Toronto, three brothers, Bolen HENDERSON, of Orangevillle, Douglas (Dianalynn) HENDERSON, of Calgary, Alberta and Eldon HENDERSON, of Melancthon Township. Predeceased by a sister, Della OLDFIELD. Resting at the McMillan and Jack Funeral Home, Dundalk. Service in the chapel on Friday, December 31st, 2004 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in Dundalk Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation on Thursday from 4: 00 to 8:00 p.m.

Christopher Allan NOLAND
In loving memory of Christopher Allan NOLAND October 18, 1953 - February 28, 2004.
Allan Noland, a resident of Gore Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the age of 50 years.
He was born at Little Current, son of Lorna Jane NOLAND and the late Nelson Keith NOLAND.
Allan had worked at Manitoulin Livestock Co-Op as a petro driver for 23 years. He was a member of the Spring Bay Pentecostal Church. Allan had many interests, which included hunting, and fishing photography, was a member of the Manitoulin Handgun club, enjoyed gardening, woodworking and watching the birds. He was a loved and loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. His presence will be sadly missed, but many happy memories will be cherished by all who knew him.
Dearly loved husband of Nancy (CARTER) NOLAND, loving son of Lorna NOLAND of Gore Bay, prod father of Christopher of Gore Bay and Kara of Gore Bay and Waterloo. Dear brother of Leslie and his wife Valerie of Indian River. Loved uncle of Keith, Mark and Evan. Also will be missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay, March 2nd. The
funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on March 3,
2004 with Pastor Derek FRAMPTON and Mr. Erwin THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON officiating. Spring interment will be held in the Burpee-Mills Cemetery.
