BUTLER died of
heart failure at St Michael's Hospital. Long term partner of
Richard HIRTLE for 30 years. Robert was born in Ottawa November
23, 1948 and is the
son of the late Norman and Florence
BUTLER.
Survived by three brothers Norman
BUTLER
Jr.,
Terry
BUTLER and
his wife Karen, and Graham
BUTLER.
Uncle of Rebecca and Madeline
BUTLER.
Robert worked in hospitality and tourism for many years,
and was a professor at Centennial College where he played a major
role in the growth of the International Program. Robert will
be fondly remembered by Friends, colleagues and students for
his intelligence, sense of humour, and generosity. In lieu of
flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated. Memorial Service Saturday, May 3, 1 p.m., Humphrey
