McCURDY, Hollis T., (Mac) Flight lieutenant, pilot instructor, Royal Canadian Air Force World War 2 -- Born April 14, 1919 in Nova Scotia, died December 3, 2003 at Toronto, following a brief illness. Formerly President and C.E.O of Standard Broadcasting Corporation Ltd., Chairman of C.F.R.B. Ltd., Chairman of C.J.A.D. Ltd., Montreal, Quebec, Director of Standard Broadcasting Corporation, United Kingdom Ltd., and Argus Corporation Ltd. Founder, with John B. AIRD, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, of The Gordon Sinclair Foundation. Chairman of The Clarke Institute of Psychiatry. Survived by his wife, Joey; his children Tony, Deborah (Kip) and Frith and his grandchildren Conrad, Samantha, Stephanie, Colt and Brittany. Devoted to his family, he was a man of great integrity and a friend and mentor to many. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Church-On-The-Hill, 300 Lonsdale Road, Forest Hill, Toronto on Friday, December 12th at 3: 00 p.m. To honour his memory, donations may be made to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, 33 Russell Street, Toronto M5S 2S1 or The Gordon Sinclair Foundation, 11084 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough M1B 1G2
